They put themselves in a position where they might need to win a game on the road against Dolphins to make playoffs / win the division. Unless the Dolphins crumble here, that’s probably another top 5 team on the road. Not ideal. But maybe for the Bills to finally get over the hump, they had to make the road as hard as possible. I’m sure they and Josh learned a lot this year. Hopefully he’s got so much of his negative stuff out of his system so now he knows how to be consistent. But now he has to prove it or the narrative won’t change. This is it!

The Bills are 8-0 in games that the defense held opponents to 20 or fewer points this season 0-6 when the defense surrendered 21 or more. That’s not a lot of points. Josh Allen has been responsible for ZERO of Buffalo’s wins in 2023. He couldn’t score a measly 17 to beat the jets in week one Couldn’t score 25 to beat the broncos Couldn’t score 25 to beat the Bengals Couldn’t score 26 to beat the Jaguars Couldn’t put the eagles away in OT despite getting the ball first. Why is the defense always on the fried last trying to hold on to a razor thin lead? Why can’t Allen put teams away? Why doesn’t Allen have any game winning drives? Why is he 0-6 in overtime? Fact is, if the defense doesn’t shut teams down and hold them under 20 points… Allen can’t hang. He folds in the clutch and never wins shoot outs.

Buffalo has had faith in him since the beginning. The potential was recognized from day 1. Fans go crazy for him and all before his growth and trial and errors. They show up to the airport, renamed Allentown to JoshAllentown, shovel him and the team out of the snow because he/ they are really exciting to watch and every week being a great team is more than satisfying. He hates losing but, the fact that they keep getting better and keep trying and they give us showdowns like no other team is why our spirit never dies. If we don't make it to the SB, oh well. With 3 more TD this season Josh Allen would hold the record for most consecutive seasons with 40+ TD at 4. In just his 6th season that would be more 40+ TD seasons than Tom Brady had (3) in 23 seasons. He _already_ owns the record for most TD in a player's first 5 seasons (taken from Marino) and the most TD in a player's first 6 seasons (taken from Mahomes). When you spend years being 80% of your team's offense and 70% of their scoring you're gonna have more opportunities to make errors.

Only Purdy & Dak stand out among QBs in that regard: Purdy: 31 TDs / 9 turnovers and Dak: 30 TDs / 8 turnovers. Otherwise, Josh is playing better than most other QBs in the league, yet you never hear "Touchdown Machine" Josh Allen.

12 More TDs and only 2 Turnovers additionally. The stat I wanna see next to that is compared to how many more throws he has done this season. I imagine the actual incidence of the 2 turnovers as a percentage of attempted passes is statistically negligible compared to all the other guys!

They won those 3 games early after the Jets loss, where he was playing lights out, and like they mentioned he didn't have to do much the last game.
