‘The View’s Joy Behar predicts new conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin will have a ‘smoother’ run on the show than Meghan McCain. The longtime host of the ABC daytime series catches up with ET after the show announced Alyssa would be joining the panel, alongside fellow conservative Ana Navarro, for season 26. Joy reacts to the hirings and shares the wisdom she passes down to the newbies as the last OG standing. Let me just say, I was rooting for Meghan McCain when she was on The View. She was a curvy, stylish , intelligent woman with a a little splash. Plus, I needed to understand conservatives. But some how she was getting a little to Fox-like and some of her responses were incendiary and idiotic. Also, I did not like the disrespectful interactions between her and Joy, although Joy could handle her own. I wanted her to win, but she just became acerbic to watch. Alyssa is a comprehensive conservative who is not disrespectful, yet can have a sporty conversation. She can stand on her own two feet and not rely on family to justify her argument unlike past conservative hosts. I am wishing Alyssa and the fabulous Ana the absolute best.
