Latetly i've been hooked on the work of people like Sensei Patrick McCarthy, Sensei Jesse Enkamp, Sensei John Titchen, and their effort to shed some light on Karate's history and it's more traditional (intended, if i'm allowed to say so) self defense applications. I deeply appreciated your work and your message and it's respect for Karate, thank you Sensei!!!

I appreciate your response our goal is to shed light on the traditional arts and open minded individuals to help them understand a purposeful visual language for how karate was originally intended to be used as accurate as can be as some things have been lost to the sands of time and many interpretations are out there. We shall be releasing many more tutorials on the functionality of karate. Sensei Patrick is a fellow Canadian and an amazing individual that has paved the way for many people to see the more practical side of karate and it's intended purpose and continue s his work now from his home in Okinawa. All the best to I hope you share this with everyone.

@@Goodfellowsmma what's your opinion on karate vs muay Thai or any other art?
@Goodfellowsmma13 күн бұрын
@@Nonamam karate was never intended for mutual combat against other skilled martial arts. It's original intended purposes was personal self protection from random acts of human aggressive behavior. But styles like kyokusin karate because of the hard hitting nature of the style it has proven effectiveness against muaythai and other disciplines. My real opinion varies purely on how a martial art is trained and it's intended purpose. All martial arts has something to offer and if blended I believe you can find the best solution for most combat situations. Thank you for this comment.

I'm glad you enjoyed this there are many similarities in a variety of martial arts as in karate and wing chun I suspect from its original roots karate coming from China has not been completely lost in the many years of its inception.
