Legit the bankai spirit so he skipped the shikai process and immediately acquired bankai in seconds of getting his zanpacto or asuchi and could call for it without a release command as she also has no release command as she hit true when she used a blade then announcing the name and is a bankai extension so and he was so strong he used the ability that urahara used for ichigo to learn bankai in 3 days but purely through strength so immediately bankai was available like a normal person to a celebrity or an anomaly

You could say it was like that, by giving her a name, she became a shinigami, Kenpachi never actually knew about her nature until he went Bankai against Gerard that she appeared to him, out of nowhere after being gone, and let him use bankai.

@@Grym0626 I don't think she's waiting for Bankai specifically, she accompanies him, always by his side, curiously a little girl meets a strange man covered in bruises and blood, she doesn't flinch, but sticks to him and he very easily accepts to let this unknown girl be there as he slashes his opponents, a sudden but genuine bond born out of nowhere but strong like one between father and daughter. So she just waited, until his partner realized who she truly is, and it was a long time until that happened.

So he kills a few people in the village where yachiru was found she didnt have a name she was found unharmed by kenpachi the creator literally stated that yachuru is not his zanpakuto or shikai release because she has her own bankai but it comes with a great risk that she will age or vanish after he kills unohana yachiru vanished she was never afraid of him she asorbed his spirit energy . Thats why in the game she was able to copy his aura with the demon face in the manga her shikai release are 2 monster's that mimic her movements of her sword . Its why she wears the skull hairpin kenny gave her .she left it behind .no one really knows what happened to her during and after the thousand year blood war. Because she was never found alive or dead yet
