This was so cute, I love your introductory videos to major labels!!! They're always really fun and informative. Kenzo always stood out to me for its vibrancy and sense of fun which I think contrasts a lot of contemporary fashion that can be kind of stuffy or dry, humorwise - especially what ended up becoming the faces of Japanese fashion ie. Normcore and techwear. Its nice to see Kenzo represent a different side of Japanese origin design.

Definitely an underrated master in the west, misunderstood designer of “hypebeast logo” in the east.

In the UK, Kenzo tends to be worn by roadmen, mainly just because it offers expensive items with some loud graphics. I love the story behind it, which is a shame as I don't want to be associated with those types of people.

you´re right very loud, not that tasteful. very repetitive

I love kenzo think the details r nice n allways high quality lasting clothes shouldnt stereotype people on what they wear
@jamescooper56584 жыл бұрын
@@a.carpenter9339 I agree, I think it’s wrong to stereotype people on what they wear; but unfortunately that is a stereotype that exists in the UK and I just wouldn’t want to be associated with the people that the stereotype is referring to. It’s not a situation of me excluding others, but rather disconnecting myself from others

Man i wish i researched him and found out more about him sooner... His angle is not only the way that i approach projects but others too. he made fashion for the average but in a bold way, and i am so thankful for that. RIP Kenzo

I remember first learning about Kenzo through Lookism, a manwha where a character was always wearing it. I always wanted to get a hoodie with the colorful tiger head but never bit.
