We’ve got two public facing, comedically wealthy women here that have careers that capitalize off of this stuff. Their teams love it, the industry is built on it. It seems trendy to only focus on women fighting when the reality is it was a man’s sneaky and selfish behaviour that set it off. Kim is definitely gross for defending all that mess Kanye was doing. Kim had her own statue made so it’s not like she was blindsided by the song and mv. She tried to save face on how gross that was by deflecting and saying it was all consented for by Taylor when it was not. Kim’s not an innocent bystander, i might consider her more innocent and well intentioned, if she was lied to by Kanye about this, but her actions afterwards were very sick, especially if she did know the full truth. Her being petty and setting things off online, saying Taylor was lying and that she was 100% okay with that gross song and accompanying video…that’s very damning. That snake nonsense. Both her and Kanye were using their influence to make sure Taylor looked like a drama mongering liar. Kanye may have started it, but Kim advocating his bad behaviour and trying to humiliate Taylor more makes her responsible for making that situation worse. With all that word vomit said, if this in fact was some bizarre publicity stunt that all of them signed on to, then I’m just annoyed lol.
