NBA star Kobe Bryant helped the LA Dodgers secure a historic $700 million, 10-year deal with MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani by recording a video pitch in 2017. Ohtani was impressed by Bryant's message, calling it a highlight of the meeting. Bryant's video was initially intended to help the Dodgers sign Ohtani in 2017, but the baseball star ended up signing with the Angels instead.
