I'm watching the game today, prone on the couch, snacks and drinks on the coffee table. I got the volume down on the tele and up on the laptop, tuned to Lakers Nation play by play on KZbin -- and I'm chillin'. I decided I was going to chill out this game since my heart might not be able to handle another game like USA vs Serbia. Anyway, under 3 minutes to go, USA holding on to a precarious lead. "Stay calm, stay calm", I tell my self. Suddenly Steph knocks down a three. My excitement started bubbling. He hit the second consecutive three, I bolted upright on the couch. Man, when he hit that improbable third three, I jumped up and squeaked like a little girl. Had I been a puppy, I would've squirted. The moral of this story: It's nice to have basketball games you care about this time of season.

Very privileged to see this Olympic team with 3 all time greats and not to forget AD was simply outstanding thru out the tournament... It felt like an entire NBA playoff season going thru the emotions, ups and downs during this legendary run by this team USA. When Lebron and Steph embraced at the end of that Serbia game, that was one of the greatest moments in basketball history esp. after them playing and starring in one of the greatest games of all time.... Wow!.... Undoubtedly, the greatest US Olympic team of all time. Bron and steph win a title together. But honestly, if lakers traded bron for steph, AD with a player like steph also wins a title. Only problem is steph wants to stay on the warriors forever. Best chance to see them team up is if Lebron wanted to somehow get out of his contract to go team up with Steph on the warriors and run the league. That seems more likely since Lebron has jumped teams every 4 years or so. Makes sense they end their rivalry by teaming up and beating everyone else.
