Its crazy how peoples perception only changed now when Bronny got drafted. The NBA is not and never will be about basketball. NBA is a league that is only here to generate as much money as possible and that is about it. Even Dwight and Boogie said the NBA is 70% business and 30% basketball if not even more tilting on the side of business.

It's crazy how people think it is a gotcha to insist that people are only feigning belief that the highest tier of professional sports has standards. Obviously professional sports leagues are a business, did i miss the part where people insisted they were state sponsored or state run? The reason that these sports are entertaining comes from the competition and skill. College sports are inherently lower skilled in the major sports, but the competitive gap is much smaller than professional sports so people watch. When you have a guy who can barely hold his own on the basketball court that isn't entertaining from either a competitive nor skillful standpoint. Look at the preseason games. 2 points, -28 +/- (so far). If you look at his stats he has over 5 in 3 categories: minutes (29), field goal attempts (7), and turnovers (5) That's it. He's not ready for g league let alone the NBA, but apparently saying that means people are being disingenuous.

"Lebron is cruel and bronny is a fool" that's the only way to picture this situation. Here's a thing, when you are in a "lose-lose situation" you have to choose the option where you'll lose the least, sadly with bronny, he chose the worst option in this situation, why? Because we all know he could be there because of his dad power, even worse, he could be there Because he was a "lamb" that Lakers need to sacrificed so lebron will stay. Lebron is a cruel, because he definitely know that this move will generate a lot of hate from his haters and even someone who's not, will eventually hating on bronny because of this move, why? Because lebron gave haters a logical argument to hating on him and bronny, there's no way you can look me in the eyes and tell me this is ain't nepotism. As for bronny he is a fool to accept this, why?, here's a thing, for us peasant, we want to play in NBA because of money, fame and the pride for playing in one of the best league in the world, but for bronny, I'm sure he's doing this for the pride only, he's doing this for a statement that he played in NBA, the achievement that not every basketball player can have in their careers, but now what? He can't have that anymore, why? Because we all know that he is a nepo-baby, all the achievement he got before, and after he's in the NBA will be stain because of what he did to get in NBA, he will be remember as "lebron's nepo-baby". Even if he actually deserve to be in the league, people will not remember that, so his main goal to proudly said he his an NBA player, will not be a thing anymore because we know how he got there. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on bronny, I kinda like him actually, he's mature for his age, he knows how handle the media, he's that privilege kid who's not bragging about what his family have and actually fun to be friend with. But he needs to do something about how to fix his career, I don't know how, because to be honest, imo his reputation as a player is already broken the moment he got into the Lakers as a "sacrificed lamb" for his dad's contract.

Bronny isn’t a problem his father is the only problem Bronny has playing professional basketball in a way no other professional players or their sons has been awarded before everything about Bronny playing professional basketball is 100% WRONG

Hes not the 55th pick based off talent. Hes the 55th pick because the lakers had the pick. If they had the 30th pick he would be that. If they had the 60th pick he wouldve been that. So the argument "he was the 55th pick cut him some slack" doesnt work. Rich Paul told teams dont draft him. If it was a free draft we may know his value but it wasnt a free draft so we will never know.

I see it as a business decision. It is not fair to others whom could’ve had that position, but realistically a 55th position doesn’t typically have much impact, so the publicity for fans and keep Lebron happy seems to be the motivation. The fact that his son could even stand on his own at the 55th position is very commendable on his part. I don’t see this as a pattern in the NBA, it is simply too competitive. So all things considered, other than the 8 mil contract, I’d say it was a good decision

Also when lakers lose this year, Lebron and le media will blame Bronny not being ready and JJ redicks inexperience as a new coach and not lebrons lake of effort on d!

It's tempting to say that LeBron James Jr, better known as Bronny James, earned a spot on an NBA team simply because of his famous dad. It may not be unusual for a relative of a current or former player in a prominent pro-sports league to also: - be drafted by a team in such a league, with in late-June Tij Iginla, son of Hall-of-Fame inductee Jarome Iginla, having been drafted by the Utah Hockey Club at 6th overall - play in that league, with: -- Vlad Guerrero Jr (MLB), Tyler Bertuzzi, Cal Foote, Jake DeBrusk, Nick Foligno and Max Domi (NHLers except Vladdy Jr) having already played quite a few games in the same respective sports leagues as relatives born during a different generation, with Tyler Bertuzzi having followed his uncle Todd, but the others having followed their dads (Vlad Guerrero Sr, Adam Foote, Sportsnet broadcaster Lou DeBrusk, Mike Foligno and Tie Domi) -- Nolan Foote, Luke Hughes and Marcus Foligno having each followed at least one respective brother at getting to play for an NHL team (of Cal Foote, Quinn Hughes and Nick Foligno) -- Sandy Alomar Jr and brother Roberto having followed their dad Sandy (Santos) Sr as MLB players I’d yet to hear about a son of an existing CFL, MLB, MLS, NBA, NFL or NHL player start playing in the same league as his dad before the drafting by the Lakers of Bronny James. How long Bronny lasts in the NBA remains TBD but should he be waived or the team for which, by then he is under contract doesn’t exercise its option on him, it may be he’ll have to find another team for which to play and end up instead, to even have a chance of making similar money, having to play in an overseas basketball league. it may be he ends up playing well enough that after his rookie scale contract has ended, an NBA team will offer him another contract. At this point it’s too soon to say whether Bronny will play well enough to earn a second contract although: - I wish him all the best in his basketball career - it’s been: - way more common for players young enough to sign NHL entry-level contracts that take them to restricted free agency, but don’t allow them to exercise arbitration rights at the end, to be given qualifying offers - by contrast quite common for pending RFAs who, conditional upon having received qualifying offers at the end of their contracts, have the opportunity to exercise arbitration rights, but are instead not given qualifying offers, with Keith Petruzzelli, whose only contract so far with an NHL team has been with the Leafs, having not received a QO and with it TBD if another NHL team will offer him a contract

If LeBron wanted to play with his son then take him to the park, all he did was mess up his sons future by not allowing him to carve his own way.

The NBA is a business. Having Bronny and his dad play together is a business deal, and it will make them money.

Life is not fair. Never was and never will be. Bronny was drafted and signed because of his father. That's fine with me. Lebron has done so much for the NBA and basketball in general. If he wants to play with his son - let him have his moment. It's a good business for league and Lakers as well.
