THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR FINGERS and wrist. why would you think that small amount of cloth on your hands would help if that amount of cloth on bat did not. even if handle was made of wood it would not help enough. You would need to make one half of a bat made out of wood and then good amount of cloth AND THEN WEAR GLOVES for it to not be dangerous IF USED PROPERLY.

Depends. It's more uncommon in some places than others. And funnily enough, in Indonesia (the setting of The Raid) it's rare to find one since baseball isn't popular in the country. There's a smaller version of baseball that's somewhat popular, but they use smaller wooden bat.

@@longtsun8286 the sport is called kasti (I think it's rounders in eng) and the bat that they use is smaller than baseball bat. And like I said, they're somewhat popular, not super popular. They're more popular than baseball, yes, but that doesn't mean that they're played everywhere in the country. They're only found in certain neighborhood/village and school. I mean, in my area the only place where it's played is in my old elementary school and I don't think they still play it. For a weapon I'd go with a home knife or even a machete since it's more common. Obviously not every household has it, especially that I live in a city, but it's definitely more common than baseball bats. People usually have them to cut something or self-defense. And the more rural you go, the more common that thing is.
