Yachty went from having viral hits like 'One Night', 'Broccoli' with DRAM and 'iSpy' with Kyle, to being on the legendary XXL 2016 Freshman Class Cover with Lil Uzi Vert, Desiigner, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black and more, to arguing with Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks on Everyday Struggle, to dissing legends like 2Pac and The Notorious BIG Biggie, to beefing with Ebro and Pete Rock, to falling off with his first album and then making a comeback with his latest release 'Let's Start Here' and his work with hip-hop titans like Drake and J. Cole, to even being mentioned by Kendrick Lamar in his beef and diss tracks against Drake - Yachty has seen it all.
Discover the highs and lows, the hits and hurdles, and the resilience that defines Lil Yachty. Join us as we delve deep into the untold stories and pivotal moments that have shaped one of hip-hop's most polarizing artists.

Simple. Networking. You never see Yachty at random clubs or really anywhere that’s not calculated or he isn’t being paid.

He definitely didn’t discover or come up with these new sounds he just tried doing what drake does with a newer sound and newer artists and hopped on and developed the wave which was the Detroit/ Michigan rap scene it’s disrespectful just to say it as if he pioneered a sound he definitely had no hand in creating from the jump

He STOLE sounds and flows. He came to Detroit and tried taking our flow for a while. He's a plant. He really went to Flint not Detroit but same difference when it comes to flow kinda.

@@donaldreyes3117 I’m not saying he pioneered the Detroit/ Michigan sound. I’m saying he introduced things like the distorted, choppy flows that he used on tracks like Poland or Strike, or those nursery-esque trap records like broccoli, Minnesota and iSpy that we was creating earlier in his career

Also you didn’t mention he wrote for city girls around 21” along with those Michigan features that really made his pen real attractive amongst his peers.

i unfortunately cant get behind anything he puts out now . the way he carries himself , and the way he works with people it all just seems like a gimmick 😅 i used to really love his personal sound . but i guess its cooler to fit in w just about everything and everyone

Lol 21, Uzi and Kodak have always been more popular than Yachty idk what ur saying with the whole “at the time he was probably the biggest out of his class thing” he never was, it was Kodak who was the biggest

@@bobbytropo2314 before Kodak dropped his first massive hit Tunnel Vision Yachty already had One Night, Broccoli, and he was about to drop iSpy which was one of his biggest hits. Kodak Uzi and Savage all surpassed him shortly after, but when the 2016 XXL Freshman cover first came out, Yachty was the biggest artist of those 4 at the time
