Function of LiBr👇 The high affinity of the refrigerant for the absorbent (usually lithium bromide or ammonia) causes the refrigerant to boil at a lower temperature and pressure than it normally would

It acts as an absorbent. In the case of Li Br-water mixture, Li Br is the absorbent and water is the refrigerant since water is easily evaporated in such mixture. For NH3-water mixture, water is the absorbent and NH3 is the refrigerant.

Hi .. Why you did not mention about low pressure phenomena in evaporator eventhough the most important point of vam is the vacuum of evaporator where because of low pressure water starts to evaporate at 5℃. And we also need a vacuum pump to create this vacuum in evaporator. Please explain

The explanation has missing so many important points. The entire system should be vacuumed otherwise the LiBr will become cristal and water will not work like refrigerant. Don't try to learn from KZbin videos it is just for time pass.😂
