Honestly, I'd like to hear your thoughts on certain picks and rumours and analyse those. An example of an interesting young prospect would be Nico Williams, Kubo, or Olise, with each player able to come in and be deployed effectively whilst having low wages. Knowing our dear club, if they go in for someone at Westham, it would most likely be Bowen 😂 I do agree that we need a destroyer in that 6, I'm curious to hear what people think about Kimmich, he has since been deployed as a right back and it hasn't always worked out the best. Another key thing to remember is that with all these players like Thiago and Matip leaving, that's also leaders and experience, which I also believe we need to retain or replace. I was gutted that we couldn't go in for Musiala after Bellingham cause we showed we had the funds for such a transfer, people's arguments was that we didn't use a 10... how about now, have Dom deployed on the right and honestly patch up the majority of our issues in house then outsource the very vital roles

Lost me at Nico Williams and low wages… He’s reportedly asking €300k a week if he does move which would make him our top earner. That ain’t happening! Kimmich is great but not really the profile we need, Macca plays in that role. We need a tall strong duel winner as dm alongside him. I’m in favor of playing Dominion on the right like he did for Leipzig and does for Hungary. With a Wirtz, Musiala (or maybe even Simons on a loan?) in the middle as the 10. I feel like Xavi Simons on a loan could be a great deal as he can play as a 10 and on the right. With an option to buy included in the deal that could turn out to be an amazing deal.

It’s not what they usually do spending that big on an unproven youngster. It’s more likely they’ll find a gem for €25-40m. But they have shown that they are prepared to spend big with the Caicedo offer for example. In terms of quality he could be one of the best in his position and if he turns out to be world class, we got our 6 sorted out for the next decade. But then again that’s a lot of “if” and “could” so it’s a risk no matter what. I personally don’t see it happening.

Kudus rejected Chelsea because they didn't want a rc attached to his contract.west ham though accepted it one. He might have a hidden release clause which could be less than 100mil or even 70 mil. West ham already working on his replacement Matias soule, Luis guilherme. Inacio is expensive. Lukeba/ pacho would be my pick because salary preference. Inacio is touted by Jorge mendes.agent fee + salary not worth it IMO. Eric martel seems like it's worth the risk of signing. We already have endo. He can take his time to settle. Bajcectic is also the same. Martel fee could be low.

I've been saying it all over the internet by now, but I just can't believe how on this earth there's no mention almost anywhere of Exequiel Palacios as a DM option for us?! Been a key player for Leverkusen this season, is amazing in tight spaces, brilliant at progressing the ball, wide range of passing, amazing work rate and can also crash the box against deep lying teams and score goals. The only game I've seen him struggle was the EL finale, but having watched quite a few Leverkusen games, that's the only one. He would for me be the perfect DM in a Slot team! Also really don't get how we should keep Tsimikas, he's extremely poor defensively, and the number of times his poor passing playing out from the back has created turnovers is horrifying. In attack we don't have enough clinical finishers in the squad, Diaz and Nunez are especially poor. And even Salah's metrics over the last years, says he's been declining in his finshing by a big margin. Stats prove his shooting has been extremely poor compared to previous seasons the last couple of years. So personally I would rather see him leave being the legend he is, on the top of his game, than him having a further decline on our watch.

I think we need someone like Matías Soulé. Juventus need the money. The argentinian kid is a super talent, left footed right winger 21 years old with massive potential. Did a good season on loan to Frosinone. 11 goals 3 assist. Soulé was the only brightspot in that team last season. Imaigne what he can with top players around him and not the worst team in Serie A. Tops the dribbling stat charts on u21 players in europe and was best dribbler in serie a last season acording to stats. He can come on in the 75th min or play the matches salah needs rest or is injured. Or the less important matches. Matías Soulé, remember the name

We still have Davies, Pitaluga and Jaros as back up keeper. Think all 3 qualify as home grown? Same as Bajcetic…. Ignacio not our typical CB who are over 6ft 2 or 3. Only De Ligt fits the physicality needs. Tsimikas is poor so we should bring back Owen Beck. Midfield we are fine.. Ederson is a water carrier and we already have Jones. Bajcetic has huge ceiling so he is our solution for 6. Diaz is our best dribbler and was Mint in 2021 chasing the Quad. I only agree with you on Kudus.

Re CB - Inacio is a ridiculous suggestion. 62m for a back up to VVD and someone who has never played in let alone proven himself in an elite league, is crazy even assuming the player himself would be happy to become a back up player (which is pretty unlikely). Finally, he simply lacks the stature and physique to be credible as a successor to VVD. Move on … Geertruider is an even more ridiculous suggestion. He is not a CB, he is a utility player and would be a carbon copy of Gomez’s role (covering RB, LB, CB and DM). Unlike Gomez he is not proven in the Prem or any top league, and he would not be part of our homegrown quota which Gomez is. So why spend all that money on replacing Gomez, who was one of our best players last season ??? Crazy. So, after all that you don’t actually have a credible candidate to come in as LCB/LB under VVD. Brilliant research … I couldnt even be bothered to look at your other suggestions after that …

So now explain to me how watching him is required to come to that conclusion ??? Kvaratshkelia and Mitoma are players just like Luis Diaz. Exciting, skillful players to look at, add a lot to the team (ball carrying, finesse) but in terms of goals and assists you shouldn’t have high expectations. And even though Lucho had a great season he still receives an insane amount of hate and fans want him out because he lacks the numbers, because in the end that’s all they look at to find a person to blame.

@@KayZenShoGun Leao is a right footed left winger though and making that transition to right winger is a lot harder than people think. It’s completely different in terms of ball carrying and cutting in so I don’t see it happening honestly. The problem is there isn’t really anyone in the market right now besides Rodrygo who’d cost a fortune if available. But one we should be looking at is Szoboszlai, I’d like to see him on the right like he did for Leipzig and Hungary. He’s way more effective higher up the pitch and with his technical and ball striking ability with both feet, he could be a 10+ goal 10+ assist a season player. If Salah stays, we shouldn’t buy any attackers honestly with Elliot and Dom being able to play there, Cody and Lucho on the left, Darwin, Jota and Danns down the middle. Macca, Dom, Elliot, Ryan can all play as the 10. I’d give Dom some time at right wing and if it doesn’t work out than we can look for a right winger next summer when Salah leaves. The main focus now should just be a top DM (Neves, Ederson) and top LCB/LB (Colwill, Hato, Calafiori) (edit: Nico Williams has 25G/A this season, at a £43 release clause he’d be a great long term option aswell for both left and right wing. There’s rumors of him demanding ridiculous wages though. But he’s a phenomenal talent and could deliver lots of numbers aswell. Btw, Salah didn’t get a lot of G/A before joining Liverpool either so you never know, players like Bakayoko or Kvara f.e. could turn out to be prolific goalscorers)
