Hello from Western Australia. We've just been through a horrible heat wave with temperatures over 40 degrees celsius and it's too hot to go outside for very long. Winter temperatures here are about 15 to 18 degrees in the daytime. It's hard to imagine your cold weather. Thank you for sharing. Your videos are so interesting.

Yes, 40°C is too much, it's often that hot with humidity in Canada during mid summer - Ontario, Quebec for example, it's cooler on the far East and West coasts. Winter is another story!

I live in northern regions of Finland where temperatures can go down to -40 to -45 in the coldest months, more commonly -20 to -35 a lot. I relate to many of the cold weather struggles, but not nearly in the level to as you guys have to deal with. I love your videos a lot though!!

I am from India ..my region has now temperature of like 42 degrees...we have a extreme hot weather...It's very astonishing to see how people live in the coldest temperatures like -60 degrees...we have only experienced extreme hot weather...but we are somehow accustomed...but I think it is very hard to live in extreme cold weather...much harder than our climate... Kudos to the hardworking people living there ❤

It's exactly the same as Dubai, but in reverse. I'm complaining about the exceeded heat in most of the year, especially in May until October. In the daytime, the temperature rises to 50, and at night, it drops to 36 with a very high humidity.

yeh 10C is quite nippy for California I suppose. Almost a standard winters day here in UK (Im from Cardiff) - feel so blessed to have our mild winters - most winter nights here are frost free. I just roll my eyes when people here complain about the cold when its typically like +5C - they dont know what real cold is!

It seems like it would be impossible to be homeless in such cold temperatures. I pray often that God would help those who are homeless, hungry, and in need. Tbh, I did just a brief Google search of your age but was not sure of the exact year. But maybe, you are around 25 years old? Even though the people of Yakutsk may actually age faster, they often seem to look maybe 10 years younger than their counterparts. Thanks for sharing your very fascinating experiences.

Excellent!! ❤ I thought you were going to talk about when our eye lashes freeze, or the tingle on our tongues at -40F, or possibly snot-cycles at -30F 😂 Depression and suicide are problems for us as well. The marginal daylight in the winter and the wonderful 24/7 sunlight in the summer can cause drastic emotional swings in some people. 😢

Here in India, on 26th May 2024 in Northen part of country the average temperature is around 43°c and I'm watching your video to cool myself and my mood. Because as cold affect the mood, heat too affect it. And I'm usually angry and irritable without any reason. But your soothing videos are comforting. Plus, now I don't complain about winters coz we just have the 2 or 3° c minimum for just a week or two. So that's very bearable compared to what you live in.

Can you please post (next year I guess) a video covering a day during winter when temperatures are lower than average, maybe below -55C? I notice in a lot of the videos you say the day is relatively warm for winter in Yakutia, around -40C. I'm interested to see what a day in Yakutia/Yakutsk looks like on a day of unusually low temperature, the unique extra challenges and how the people who must still go outside e.g. for work cope when it is below -55C. thank you!

It's ironic that living in Southern California I once had low vitamin D levels but I don't do well in the sun and heat so in the summer I tend to hide indoors or in the shade as much as possible. I can't even imagine how that temperature of cold feels but if I could, I'd love to experience it just once. Not sure if the coldest I've been in has been around 30F or the high 20s (fahrenheit) in some local mountains.
