Hi there, greetings from Turkey! I'm Kyrgyz, and I’ve always felt that we Kyrgyz and you Yakuts are so alike it’s like we’re family. The film was absolutely amazing! I watched it in one sitting, completely captivated from start to finish. It was fascinating to get a glimpse into the daily lives of a Yakut family living in such an incredibly cold and challenging part of the world. I’m truly amazed by how they not only survive there but also find joy in life. I have so much respect and admiration for the resilience and calm strength of your people. It’s heartbreaking to think how much more could have been achieved for your land and your people if it weren’t for the exploitation and occupation by Russia. Your resources should go towards building up your own beautiful homeland. Wishing freedom and prosperity to the brotherly people of Sakha Yakutia! 💪❤

Their lives are so harsh!!! But you see the bond that the dads and boys have , it’s so joyful to see!! And it surely warmed my hearts ! You don’t see something like this in western culture much, fathers and sons do hard things together with joy!!

Hello from Singapore! This was so interesting for me to watch! Coming from a country in a tropical climate where it's hot the entire year... the cold you experience is unimaginable for me. I'm suddenly very grateful for the easily accessible fruits and vegetables I find in our marts!

Meanwhile here in Colorado, food costs are higher adjusted for both currency and wages. Help me make sense of it. That being said, it's fascinating to see what you eat. I'd especially love to try the frozen white fish, it looks to me a bit like fish jerky. And also the horse liver. I enjoy liverwurst and pate, I bet it's similar.

I admire you for the food culture you can enjoy. You got three full warm meals that are in rich in nutritions. 8$ for a meal in the canteen is not cheap but also not expensive at all. I feel sorry for the people on the market working all day long there in the freezing cold.
