Aloha, Amanda & Felix...Love that you feature these types of businesses and that we get to watch the process. Such a coincidence as I was in Wahiawa last week at GREEN WORLD FARMS coffee. I must have passed there a million times, it is always filled with tourist, and I told myself this time that I am going to stop. They had some fantastic coffee too. So smooth. And no kidding I was thinking that Amanda & Felix should do a tour of this business type and then Wala...you present KAI COFFEE. Amazing. Great presentation and look forward to more. I drink coffee every day. Food for thought, how about doing an episode on TEDS BAKERY. Da pies are winnas. MAHALO!

Very fun episode!! I worked as a coffee roaster in Washington State for a few years after I graduated from college. I was pretty excited to see coffee growing in the Kona region a few years ago. Only the boss/owner was allowed to roast the Kona coffee cherries. It was a completely sensory experience. I always bring Hawaiian coffee home with me when I visit the islands. Indonesian coffees are also a favorite of mine as well as some of the Central American types.
