That's an even more loaded question, I'd imagine it would be 5 minutes though, having the last player never join. Unless you can abandon and end the match before warmup is over, then it's down to how fast someone can get to the main menu and abandon. But there's dozens of other scenarios I'm sure he could cover too, like fastest 16-0.

I always thought it was based on the amount of rounds, not minutes (so after 3 rounds the person is banned) but I've seen matches where people have been gone for 5 or even 6 rounds, lasting way more than 3 minutes. It seems really inconsistent because sometimes it actually is 3 rounds though (or even 3 minutes), it's really weird

Nah, cause you are still in main menu. And also the accept button is the literally the button that let's you join the game. And if it was technically the start of the game, are you quitting the game if everyone doesn't accept?
