never. childhood tbi topped with swallowed tongue and chocked to death as an adult i have had 3 concussion in which i was knocked out. 61 with a 2nd grade education. never had any treatment.

I had a head injury about a year ago, and I only been getting worst, due to some troubles with the workers- com I haven’t been getting treated at all just with pills that seem to only make it worst. My question is, could post-concussion syndrome be permanent?

@@petrosk7789 nope, I still suffer from the same PCS and now I have memory problems. They are now treating me but already let me know that I will have to live the rest of my life like this. My doctors are trying to teach me techniques to know what to do in times of need. Like when I get anxiety attacks. I also can’t stand or walk for more then an hour without sitting down and resting for a couple hours. I never been worst.

@@petrosk7789 I hit my knee with a pallet Jack and it feel asleep and I lend over while standing and held my knee because I could no longer feel it. I passed out and I woke up flat on the floor facing up.

Do you know if there is an organization that has a list of doctors or places that specialize in PCS by location? My niece has been in a dark room for a year now and all the doctors she's seen don't believe her 🙁

I hope she finds a doctor that will believe her and can help. I’ve seen several doctors that didn’t believe me. I spent 2 months in a dark room, that was 9 years ago and I still deal with symptoms. I’ve learned to live with it but it’s made life more difficult. Hope she can get through it 👍🏻

I was hoping you would say that the encouraging thing was that all Those people Got better. But Then it was that they didnt get better. Hehe stung a little bit. Pcs is a bitch. Mostly because every one and everywhere talks about symptoms stats and not precise recovery stats.

Concussion patients recover when their neurological symptoms are treated. This video topic was not about treatment. Look for a Functional Neurologist in your area and more specifically one that has the certification FABBIR fellow of the american board of brain injury and rehabilitation.
