Peta you are so right!! In the beginning I thought that it wasn't working!! I said to myself I will give it 6 months faithfully what do I have to lose!! I am now on series 5 and the changes are incredible!! Consistency is the key and doing exactly what you say and staying with it!! I know that I keep saying it but I can't thank you enough!! @@tatianetavares1 5 days, 6th day massage + fast repetitions and whatever else you do, masks, microneedling etc, 7th day rest day. Peta has explained it all in her videos, you just have to find it.

It's also great to keep protein intake high. Just like at the gym, when trying to 'build lean muscle mass', many drink extra protein every day. I always did, and believe me, it *works*! My muscles developed much more quickly than 'my usual' growth from the gym, when I began including protein shakes immediately after my workouts. I drank 3 a day back then: one with my b'fast, one right after the gym, and another at some point before bed. I don't go to the gym 3x/week anymore, so I stopped the protein shakes, since my diet was already pretty protein-rich, BUT--as an experiment, I started taking it 2x/day and found that it helps facial muscles to 'grow' better, too. WIN/WIN. :)

I’m glad I watched this I’m only on series one I’m into my final 2 weeks of series one about to start my 150 tomorrow that’s absolutely right my face looks great after the exercises then I look just like you said after half hour or so and it’s dropped. I find the neck excercises hard. I’m determined to continue and not giving up!! Xx

Gone through 1-6. I'm 65, not sure if it's making a difference because I never did the before and after pix. This is subtle. But since I don't do injections, this makes be feel better about myself. Am beginning to rotate from three weeks of 50 and three weeks of 100 with two of 50, two of 100 and two of 150. Honestly, it is hard with my busy lifestyle to squeeze in 150. I do think, for my age, I am not getting too jowly or double chinned and get compliments quite a bit on my beauty and that I look 10 years younger than I am. But I am lean and a runner and I attribute some of it to plain and simple youthful energy. Where I slack is skin care product. Couldn't be bothered, really. A little almond oil and off I go. Thank you, Peta, for giving me a serious anti-aging tool that I have successfully incorporated into my lifestyle.

When I first started going to the gym, there were really fit people there (& I was not). One man told me he could do a leg workout & he’d get a good chest & arm pump. I didn’t really understand how this could be possible, but as I got fitter I realized that the blood circulating helped to pump up the muscles all over the body, not just the ones that were being worked directly. It makes me wonder if the same philosophy could be applied to facerobics…🧐

I started series #1 two weeks ago and was absolutely excited, because I saw results immediately. I did /do the exercises every evening and over the next day there were still differences in my face. but since a few days everything has been back to the way it was before. Even immediately after the exercises, my muscles no longer seem to react to it, even though I'm still in the same series. Am I doing something wrong or is it normal? Has anyone had the same experience?

Hi. Its exactly my experience. But I think its ok because as for body workout is the same - your muscles get use to the exercises but it doesnt mean they dont get firmer. As Peta said thats why we change repetitions and series :) Lets keep going girl ;)

Hi Peta. I’ve been doing your facial exercises for a couple of years and am quite pleased with results. Thanks for your generosity and professional teaching method. I do however have one question. I notice you no longer say that if we can’t do 150 repetitions the last 2 weeks we can do 50 for 3 weeks and 100 for 3 weeks instead of 50 first 2 weeks 100 following 2 weeks and 150 the last 2weeks. Does your recommendation still stand or should we work up to the 150 repetitions ? Thanks for your time and wish you all the very best

oh my god, I feel like I am that annoying "fan-stalker" hahaha but I really am enjoying every single video I watched so far! starting was a process, reading up, taking a closer look at the anatomy, trying to learn all exercises before I start, listening and soaking up every word you say while working my way through all steps..I do enjoy it! I am 47 now, just like you were when you started :) this was good to hear, I didn't expect results over night but was wondering when people start to see changes so this was exactly what I needed to hear now, thank you

The changes are different for everyone, depending on what your skin and muscle tone is like when you start. If your face is like mine was you should start seeing changes in about 6 weeks. they dont happen all at once, so it might be your eyes first, nose or whatever. Once you start seeing any changes, the rest will follow

I had to made my own series with whatever exercises you have on your channel. I'm trying to stick as much as I can to the routine but some of the exercise I can't do.. My fingers are either too long or there's no room for moving the same way and some of them hurt my jaws. I thibk I might have dislocated my jaw at some point? From car accidents...? So hopefully I'll get some similar result. I wish I could follow exactly

I would ask that you stop doing that because you are not following the program correctly. Potentially would will damage the skin and muscles of your face. The program is designed for balanced exercises. Please stop! Try doing face yoga instead

If you over exercise and cause fatigue and more sagging, does that mean permanent sagging? Or does it mean that you need to rest and repair, and things will go back to how they were before? I read of a woman who felt she overdid it and it aged her ‘ten years’ overnight, but her instructor told her to take a break so her muscles and skin can rebuild themselves. Is this the case? I would not want to cause any permanent sagging from face exercise.

yes this is correct, you can repair the face if you stop after over exercising, but it does depend on how much overexercising you did. It can permanently damage your facial features and is why I am always talking about only following the program and not making it up yourself

Hi Sarah, just do them gently, if you have pain, you might not be able to do the exercises at all I am afraid. Sometimes the exercises help tmj sometimes not.

HI Brenda, S4, 5 & 6 Exercise Along with Me videos are part of the membership site. However you will find the exercises to them in the playlists tab on the channel. Just learn them like you do for the first 3 and then combine them into the routine and just do the routine as normal. Also, all of the muscle groups, neck, jowls and nasolabial folds are covered in the first 3 Exercise Along With Me videos, you can simply just rotate those three routines if you want without doing the others.

I struggle with the idea that I should not do additional exercises for jowling. I have come across an exercise where you open the mouth, curl the lips inwards and then make scooping movements with the jaw. This really pulls the muscles in that particular area. I felt the muscles in that area whilst doing this exercise and it really affects the place where the jowling occurs. I know you recommend not to do additional exercises but this is really a loose area of my face. The neck exercises you provide do not really seem to help the jowl area?

Hi Rojodosh, lovely, you have been doing the exercises for long enough to know, that if you over do them, you will get MORE wrinkles and sagging. You simply cannot do extra exercises in a series in any muscle group. And you know long enough by now, that facial exercises can only do so much. If you have extra sagging in the jowl area, you will not have the appearance of a lift, because there is too much skin. Your muscles will still be strengthened, but, if you have excess skin there is nothing that facial exercises can do for you. Also, you have been with me long enough to know not to combine other peoples exercises with my program, or with repetitions. You will run the risk of wrecking your face completely. I do not say this to scare anyone, I say this because it is a fact. You cannot over exercise your face! 💖💖💖

@@facerobics I know you are right. I am a bit of an on off exerciser. I lose faith! However the past 8 weeks I have been following the facerobics every day 5 x per week. So my face does feel more toned. I do believe in you Peta and your programme. Your honesty shines through. Thanks.

Hi Peta, firstly I want to thank you for these very educational videos but I also had a problem doing these exercises. Last week I started series 2 but then my left eyelid started trembling a lot. I looked up possible causes and found out it could be caused by an overactivity of the nervus facialis responsible for the facial muscles, so I stopped doing the exercises, the trembling is now, after four days, diminishing. My question is: have you heard of this problem before and do you know if and when it would be safe to start exercising again?

Latha K you have to follow Peta program it is a whole series 1thru 6!! It changes every series!! Her program definitely works!! I am at series 5 and I can see muscle forming already it is incredible!! You won't see results right away, it takes a few months and I can't stress this enough do exactly what Peta says, no more or no less and be consistent!! It is better than botox because it is natural!!!
