I've been doing facial exercises since I was 27 years old due to breaking my jaw and having a facial injury. I'm about to be 43 next week, and honestly, I've not aged very much at all. So people who say that face exercises don't work aren't doing them right or at all.

Also losing a bunch of weight very quickly can cause sagging on the face and body. When my friend lost 200 lbs she looked great except the skin on her face and body looked older from the rapid weight loss. She did some facial exercises and It definitely helped. If People use weight slowly it’s better.

Dear Peta, I have been doing the exercises for over a year now, I am 61 years old. Unfortunately I have not taken a photo of 'for' but that I never think of a neck and jaw lift says I think enough! Everyone says how is it possible everyone is getting older and you are getting younger. I look very different from my eyes and when I run my face no longer shakes! When I apply cream, my skin feels thick and I no longer wrinkle with the movement of my fingers! I am super happy with your exercises, thank you!

so true, I have been doing your facial exercises for about 3 years, I have no extra wrinkles and my neck is finally starting to change, it does take time, have to be patient, it's like doing any exercise, you don't build muscles overnight, I am 67 some exercises I can't do, like my nose, can't move it, so I don't do it, but these exercises have worked for me. you have to picture yourself and be patient. sometimes I under exercise not over. My cheeks have lifted and I don't have that hollow look anymore, my eyes look so much better and I feel good about myself.

How Facerobics has Helped Me… I started “Exercise along with Me” about seven months ago, when I had just recovered from a knee injury which occurred during belly dance. It was an excrutiatingly painful ordeal - I winced in pain even with the slightest movement in bed. Doctors at three major hospitals couldn’t help me. I moved about on crutches alternately dragging my legs for three years and seven months. Gradually the muscles of the legs became emaciated and shriveled like that of a polio victim. Worse, my arms, torso, neck and face also slackened and sagged while the skin drooped dejectedly downwards. I am 69 years and have been afflicted with fibromyalgia for thirty years which meant that I didn’t get much sleep. Even on the rare moments when I nodded off, I would be woken up rudely by the sound of snoring - my own. Then one day, I bumped into a traditional Thai therapist at a friend’s house. Descended from generations of traditional Thai healers, she diagnosed my condition as dislocated knees and began to adjust my whole frame. After seven months of adjustments, I was able to walk again without crutches. The first thing I did after this was to search for ways to revive my sagging face. That’s when I found Peta and Facerobics! I’ve been doing the Facerobics exercises by the book for several months now and am proud to say that my most significant achievement is to stop snoring. Once a while, I can actually doze off for a few minutes to half an hour. With the Stop Snoring Exercise, I have become a nose breather instead of a mouth breather. In the mornings it’s hard to feel all rested as I either haven’t slept at all or feel like I haven’t slept at all - common symptoms of Fibromyalgia. But after my routine Facerobics exercise in the morning, I feel revived. The heavy sag on both sides of my chin just beneath the corners of the mouth have also benefitted from the Stop Snoring Exercise. The right side doesn’t sag any more and there’s only a slight sag on the left side. I think the Cheek Lifter and Turkey Neck Exercises should also be commended for this improvement. The Turkey Neck exercises, the most difficult for me, have also reduced the hanging skin beneath my chin. I didn’t have any sags under my eyes - maybe a few too many lines and some dark circles from lack of sleep - but my sister commented enviously on how firm the skin around my eyes were. The Lift & Squeeze Technique that should be incorporated into the eye exercises is, I believe, essential for firming the skin around my eyes. For me Facerobics is more than facial exercises; it also utilizes the muscles of the whole body and smaller muscle groups. And while doing it, we still have to keep count. It is a mindful activity that paves the way to meditation…for better health, increased blood flow, improved concentration, better immune function and spiritual growth.

Okay, here is my reality. I'm now 64. Last year I lost 6 stone in weight in 7 months. At the same time I started exercising both my body and face. I still am doing it and the benefits are enormous. I still look mature but so much better and I've kept my weight stable. So go for it but realise its for life if you want the benefits.

Hmmm, my journey with Facerobics: I'm just about to start my 18th week (the second week of Series 3, Level 3). I have honestly only missed 2 days in all that time. I began to see very small results right away that only my partner and I could notice. Those results convinced me that your program works so I kept going. My partner has been taking photos of me without makeup (full face and profile) after I complete each series. When I feel discouraged, I look at those photos. I'm obviously making progress. I'm 67. I look ten years younger already, on a good day. On a bad day, I still look better than before Facerobics. I'm 67. I'm not going to look like I did when I was 30. I still have fine lines but my face doesn't sag like it used to. I'm proud of myself for taking time to study your program, learn the exercises and most of all for sticking with it. Im very grateful to you for your hard work. You are an inspiration.

Is there a way to send you photos so you can see for yourself? Results are quite remarkable, especially in the lower half of my face. People notice and ask. I always tell them about you and Facerobics. But nobody wants to invest time required to learn techniques and exercises. Even though actual exercises only take 10-15 minutes a day after we get past the initial learning curve :-(

Hi Ashley, all I can say is you need to follow the routines. There is no magic fix. With this program you must be doing a full face routine, if you don’t, you run the risk of causing more sagging and wrinkling of the skin. This is because the program is a very strong exercise program. Everything, along with the Exercise Along With Me videos are in the playlists on this channel. Make sure to work thru the series as instructed starting from Series 1 to Series 6. When you get to Series 6 (if there is not a new series) start at Series 1 again and move thru the program again. All of the explanation videos are in the information bar at the top right hand corner of the video, the little circle, just click on it, or in the playlists on the channel. Being 49, with 7 and 9 year old daughters I've been very self-conscious about how I look. Especially over the last few years my face has aged. Having followed your program for 5 1/2 weeks, I am so encouraged with the positive changes to my face. My jowl area is lifted, I have more definition in my cheeks, my eyes seem lifted, and my forehead seems smoother. I also feel much more confident leaving the house without makeup. Okay take it from a gym rat: 1) On a scientific spectrum: if its a muscle, you exercise it, it grows and tighten up. Even ur face. Thats a rule. 2) To see the results more clearly first you have to lose weight, burn fat all over ur body since u cant spot reduce fat, ull have to exercise in general. Now what happens is that as you lose fat over all, you start to lose fat off ur face, then ull start to see the results more clearly cuz there is no more fat covering up the muscle. 3) soreness. If you feel sore after it means it working. Im talking about facials exercises too. I tried the cheekbones exercises, felt my cheeks sore the next day. 4) there is no one specific time table for when ur gonna see results. Every body is different we have different metabolism rates different collagen ratios and different body types. It aint easy but consistency is key.

Coming from a bodybuilder as well her program makes total sense to me and this was my perspective as well. I mean if you want your body to look smoother, firmer and more tone, you need to plump up the muscles underneath the skin. And the best way to plump up your muscles is to exercise them. Ideally with weights but obviously you can’t use weights to train your facial muscles lol. There are muscles all over your body including your face. If you can work out the muscle groups within your body why couldn’t you work out your facial muscles? My initial concern was how many reps she was telling us to do as I thought that doing that many reps would be over training your facial muscles. I know in the past when bodybuilding I would do way too many reps and was overtraining without any proper program or the right diet and my body actually looked worse. So I was a little worried. But she explained in the video that because you’re not using weights with your face obviously, you need to do more reps to stimulate the muscles. I was also concerned about training your facial muscles two days in a row because I know if you work out a muscle group within your body it usually takes 2 to 3 days to recover but she explained in the video also that because your facial muscles are smaller then the rest of your muscles in your body that they recover much quicker, within a day. She even tells you to rest every two days to allow your facial muscles to recover. She even tells you to take a week off after finishing every series which is every six weeks. In bodybuilding that would be the equivalent to taking a Deload week, which would allow your muscles to rest and recover and prevent from overtraining. Her program seems really legit and almost science-based from a bodybuilding point of view. People really do not understand how much of a gem her channel is! Her program is almost as if you bought a program from a trainer. And I truly believe in my heart that she is legitimate. Doing the program I consider changing things but I decided to trust her because she’s a professional and she knows what she’s doing and I really strongly encourage everyone to do the same. If you find you were getting more wrinkles from doing the program I really suggest you go back and look at the video videos and study them because chances are you’re probably doing the movement wrong I know I was doing that for one with my forehead and I realized it’s because I didn’t have my fingers placed above my eyebrows instead I had them below lol.

You are so right, be realistic. If we are 60 we cannot expect to look 20 years younger. However, with your routines we will look toned and we wil glow. That is the differance from looking shaggy. But you have explained it so well, I agree with what you said. Thank you Peta for everything.

I'm going to start my 3rd week on Monday. I must say i see a great deference already my nose is tighter and doesn't feel like it wiggles, like before the exercises. I need these facial exercises because i had lost 12 pounds and been weight lifting for almost 2 years but i lost alot of face fat that made my face look better. My confidence is slowly kicking in , i don't feel so ashamed, or embarrassed of my face. Thank you Miss Peta P.s. I've seen all the videos and fallowed as you instructed.

I am in my mid sixties (this photo was taken when I was sixty and my appearance has definitely aged) but I do my facial exercises in bed every morning and get up feeling open eyed and bushy tailed. I splash water on my face and do 20 minutes of synergetics to some uplifting music and I'm right for the day. I look 66 and I think that even if I had a face lift I'd look 66 - you can't hide maturity. But I feel vital and my face is toned and so I would never stop doing facial exercises.

Hi Peta - My morning ritual used to be called Synagetics but the creator's now call it 'pocketgym' because it doesn't require much space or equipment - It's hard to describe so here's the link if you're interested : pocketgym.com/fatburn.html. I've practiced it for years.. and I take it with me where ever I travel. I practiced it every night in my hotel room (along with my face exercises) on my recent whirlwind tour through Europe - even though the trip was hectic my exercises kept me sane and relaxed.

Hi Peta! I realized how well the exercises worked when I stopped doing them. I hadn't seen any results in the 6+ months I'd been doing them, so I stopped. About 3-4 weeks later, I noticed a difference when I was putting makeup on: I looked older. So, back I went to exercising again, and while I still don't notice a huge difference, I do see subtle changes, and at age 60, I'll take *any* type improvement.

Thanks to your continual reminders on how to follow the program correctly, I figured it out. Once again thank you. I started the program at 54, and some strikes against me... bell’s palsy from years ago. Bottom line, it takes time and effort and consistency. I do get positive results and I am grateful. You're right, some expect instant results which isn't realistic. I remember you commenting awhile back in one of the videos that this was a milder muscle stimulation & that it will give you better results verses a more strenuous program. Everyone's different & each will experience degrees of results. I see the results even though I haven't committed to a regular regime. Hello Peta, Thank you for this video because it gives encouragement. I’ve been doing facial exercises for about 3 years now. I’ve bought several gadgets and gizmos that were quite expensive. I never stuck with it. I would lose hope and give up. I started your program back in late January, early February and have stayed very consistent. I think it has helped my neck area and maybe a little around my eyes. My problem area is my chin and mouth area. I have little jowls. I also have the 11 lines between the brows. I have not made it yet to the 6th series where the 11 exercise is. Seems the mouth and jowl area are very stubborn. I have taken before pictures and do not see a change yet in the jowl and chin area. The nasolabial lines seem to be responding a little, so that is encouraging. I try not to get discouraged and just stay with it. I have TMJ and have had prosthodontic and orthodontic work done to help correct my jaw locking. For that reason I only do 100 exercises for the last 3weeks rather than splitting the series with 150 for the last two weeks, as you have recommended. My jaw starts hurting if I try to force too many. Well Miss Peta, that is my story and I will continue to work hard at it throughout the year. Thank you for all you do and all of the time you spend for us. I really appreciate it. P. S. The one thing I would like to add is that I agree with you with regard to the other outside factors that are contributing to our aging. I am 59 and I work a graveyard shift 3 days a week for 12 hours. It takes a toll on me and I can’t wait to retire to get on a normal schedule. I’m careful with sugar, and maintain an organic diet for the most part. No fast foods. I think diet plays a major part. Also, I do not use conventional medicine, only alternative.

Frankly speaking, I don’t see much physical improvement on my face yet, but I do feel that my face looks less tired and tense (my stress could show on my face). In order words, I feel that my face is fitter and energized than before though I just started a month ago. I’ll continue the facial routine to make my face looks healthier as I age because that makes me look more confident and presentable. Thanks Peta, you are wonderful!

Hi Pete. Just the tonic i needed. Sometimes i do get down, especially on those days when im feeling my age. But honestly speaking, without your exercises i would feel so much worse. Im 57 iv been doing face exsersis for around 7 years and its made such a difference. They do work . Thanks so much for changing my life. And you look fantastic. I have real expectations and know that I will never look like I used to. Sometimes I want to stop because I get busy or lazy but I keep going. I do hate changing though after six weeks because I think the benifits of what I have been doing will be lost.

Peta: Thank you for investing all the time to make these videos and to share them with us all! You have been very kind to offer this to us. I AM THOROUGHLY a fan of the physical benefits of exercising with Facerobics. I had tried another program in the past, but it just did not yield noticeable improvements. I am 63, started Facerobics 17 months ago, and have faithfully continued.. My initial motivation was my neck area which at 62 was beginning to look "old" to me, and I had been unhappy with sagging jowls for some time before this. The one thing that kept me going was that I took pictures of myself (not smiling). In the beginning I did this at the end of each week. That was good motivation as I can NOT see the differences just by daily looking in the mirror. After the first series, I decided to space out the pictures to the beginning/end of each 6 weeks (or series). At the end of one year, I looked back at those pictures and while I don't look 20 years younger, there has been obvious improvement! YAY! Hubby has enjoyed looking at the pics with me and pointing out areas where he sees improvements. I have recently seen a couple of friends that I only see about once a quarter. Each of them mentioned that there was something "different" about how I looked (in a good way), but they couldn't quite place what it was. I just smiled and thanked them. If they ever ask me if I've had a nose job or something, I'll likely tell them my "secret" at that point. One obvious benefit has been that my nasal area would "click" a good bit in the beginning and I noticed that subsided within the first few months. I've had friends who have had to have sinus surgery, so I can only think this offers a deterrent to that for folks as well. I was unable to physically exercise recently for about 4 weeks. When I got back into it, I was SO surprised at how sore I was after a full body workout with weights after such a short time that I decided that I'd better NEVER stop doing my face exercises (LOL). I am not keen on the psychology aspect of the program about how to release emotions, but I sure wouldn't discount the whole program due to differences in our worldview. Thanks again, Peta. Your before/after pics were wonderful initial motivators too!

Hi Loretta, wonderful to hear this. I do recommend photos every 6 weeks when you change the series, every week is too soon to see changes. And you are correct, subtle changes happen, not all at once. I do hope that you are now letting everyone who tells you how great you look in on Facerobics and not keeping it to yourself. I guess that's the give and take of it all, because its seeing your results that is the evidence, and you telling everyone! You should try the Face Healing. Its not psychology, its healing old wounds, its a beautiful gentle way to heal. So glad to hear how Facerobics has helped you Loretta, and keep it up. i have noticed some improvements with these exercises. as far as having bad skin days, it happens after I've eaten too much salt or junk food. caffeen and dehydration are culprits too.

I've been doing facial exercises off and on for about 30 years. Remember that gravity is NOT on your side! When I get lazy and don't exercise my face I do notice a difference and it is not good. So if you just stick to it you will see improvement. And if you don't exercise your face it will droop; same thing with your body!

Yup, been doing your program a few years now, and I have come to peace with the fact that I am still aging. However, my face is not falling down, my neck is better than it would otherwise be (instead of tucking a pillow under your chin, have you thought of sleeping in a soft cervical collar?), and I know my face feels better and looks younger than it would otherwise. I count it a win.

Well I definitely get impatient. But I think that's just human. I finally made it up to Series 3. Just started it this week, took the week to learn it. I have realized that it does take time but I am beginning to see some micro improvements. And also can feel that my muscles have lifted a little. But certainly, the amount of sleep, my stress levels and food plays a part in how I look and feel too. One thing that I do experience in the immediate moment after having done the exercises each morning is a sort of invigorating feeling. It helps to get blood flow going and contributes to waking me up. So that helps to think of that as a reason to do it. Humans are very much geared toward immediate gratification so I've taken that on as mine. Sort of an enjoy the journey sort of attitude. Because discouragement does happen when I look in the mirror some days. However, I'm still very determined to keep at it.

Peta, your teachings have been great for me. I no longer have my lips crooked, due to TMJ. My forehead wrinkles are finer. I had two upper lip wrinkles that are hardly noticeable. I like my cheek bone area and I noticed more eyelid showing. I take supplements to assist in collagen building and cod liver oil capsules which is natural Retin A along with Vitamin C and E. I mean do the scars will become more apparent or it would help it to fade or just going to be the same? Hi King Edward, the first problem is that you are too young to start facial exercises. Also, I doubt whether the exercises will fix the scars. I feel you need to wait just to see how your face sorts out over time. I know its a horrible feeling when we are not happy with our looks and it does impact on everything we do and feel. Have you seen a specialist in the first instance for it?

Thank you for answering. Yeah I know that feeling and I'm so grateful to have my parents, they're always there for me. And yes I'm currently taking a maintenance medicine to cure my acne but not for scars, though I already had a laser surgery for my scars twice and it helps but we stop that because it's so expensive and we don't have a lot of money. My parents save money for my treatment but we decided to fix the acne first before the scars. I'm already taking the medicine for about six months now but I don't know how many more months I need to stop the maintenance drug because until now there are still some pimples growing on face.

Tengo mas de 60 mmmmm jajaja, pero veo fotos de antes de comenzar los ejercicios y me veo ahora, y aunque hay arrugas todavia la cara se ve mas suave, no esta ese "rictus" de cansancio que aparece con los años. I stil got much to go and sometimes I cant do 150 repetitions but i do more days a 100. Gracias !!!!

Hola Susana, si no puedes hacer 150 reps, Peta dice que en vez de hacer 2 semanas de 50, 2 de 100 y 2 de 150 puedes hacer 3 semanas de 50 y 3 semanas de 100. Es lo que ella hace ahora pero no me acuerdo cuando lo dijo, pero fue recientemente.

orla, you would only do them at your age if you have obvious signs of wrinkling. 30+ is the best time to start if you have problems.

I have been doing these for 2 months now. I am finally on Session 2 step two.. I'm glad you posted this video, I needed it. I was getting rather discouraged. I am older and I know it will take a lot longer than someone who is younger. It is hard for me to keep motivated at this stage. I don't see anything happening at all, so I need to keep at it. I have dedicated the next 9 months to this program. :D

Hi Terrie, dont be discouraged. Just keep at it. It does take time but if you keep at it as I ask you to, you will see changes over time. Just a heads up, the Sessions are "Series" and the Steps are "Levels" so you will be on Series 2, Level 2. It is better sticking with the same wording so as not to confuse yourself. I cant wait to see you in a few months telling us of your progress !!!

Nicotine is a similar stimulant to caffeine, it really does not hurt in small doses. its all the other chemicals in cigarettes that are wrong

Love your programme Peta! I've been doing your exercises for 3 months now and I am seeing results. I do my routine in the morning after cleansing my face and I find that the exercises make my face look and feel fresher and improves lymphatic drainage. last year I was looking tired and aged. I cherry-picked from the exercises and did my own thing for a while. Didn't know what I was at really and only realized I wasn't even doing the exercises properly until I decided to stop and went to the very start of your program and listened VERY carefully. Now 6 months later, it's, like wow! I can go out without make-up to hide behind and people have even remarked on how well I look (even though I'm over 6 months older now). So, there's no shortcuts. One simply must put the time in and actually study the program. Thank you so much.

Yeah 100% correct. I also fot this request if you can. You see im very self confident about my lips, my top lips right side (under the filtrum) is much more longer and more arched than my left. My left in comparison is mush shorted and not arched. My top lip is in general is not symmetrical. My left side is more fuller and my right is curved and my whole lip is unsymmetrical and leans. If you can make a video on it, it will help alot thank you.

Hi Shehxu, just as I mention in the video, possibly you can watch it again, do not change the EAWM series in any way as you will run into problems. You dont need to add anything because all of the series cover the areas. just stick to what I have in the routines and you will see changes over time. For instance, if you keep doing the same cheek exercise into S2 , you would have done that exercise over 12 weeks, and you WILL fatigue the muscles. So, please just "listen to what Miss Peta says" 😀

I notice with the weight loss is is starting to wrinkle more and sag...never had that before...any advice at this time would be appreciated...

Karen my love, you just have to keep doing them, yes you will see some changes when you lose weight because you "have lost weight" and facial volume. Just do them lightly, maybe just 50 reps then 100 reps and see how you go

Wow 1st lol I've been at it 3 or 4 years now and thought it hasn't solved everything yet I am still getting great results. But like you said, only if you keep it up other wise it certainly goes back down lol.

All true Peta. These exercises changed my face and life, one day I went into my Gym and an older guy walked up to me and said "you look like u did a face surgery" that day I knew faceorobics and consistency does the work. My face was very flat due to age and weight loss, a frontal face picture looked like a melting, drooping face with no contour anymore. Now my face looks lifted, plumper, tighter What really did the work for me was not racing thru the exercises taking the time to feel them and visualize the area that im working on. Hydration, good eating habits collagen and Hyloronic acid to help absorb the collagen.
