I really don't like quickies because they do nothing for me, don't feel a connection or pleasure from them. I've learned to give in to them because partner wants sex more frequently but I prefer quality over quantity and partner doesn't adjust to my needs. I prefer a romantic initiation , sweet and kind words affectionate interactions before just rolling over for sex.

My biggest problem is that I feel the need to let loose and then tell myself I can’t yet and hold it back until she gets one or more than when she wants me to do I have held back so long that it takes so much for me to get back there that she wants to quit than I also get yelled at for not letting loose if she can’t take it anymore until I get there. I am am averaged sized man as well.

I'm super confused though, I don't think the poll is too innaccurate. Average for hubby and I is 20minutes or more including foreplay...but like when we do the naughty, we tend to have fun with it, like we might spend 10 mins or so on foreplay, 6 mins on one position, 5 mins on another, a couple mins on another and so on, like if we do just one position sure it's shorter, but it really isn't possible for us to go less then 10mins start to finish because I need time to get to the big O haha good things can't be rushed. I'm very greatful my hubby has got the control to outlast me so I don't feel like I have to rush or any pressure to just get to it

I think that's the point if you listen to Vanessa's other videos (and read her book now we're yrs later). Average duration does not mean BOTH partners get off. "Average sex" tends to start when the man initiates and ends when the man cums. If that is the case, most interactions would be 2-5 minutes max and no woman especially would orgasm. Us ladies need to communicate better. Especially when the average woman needs 20+ minutes of clitoral stimulation to reach orgasm (not penetration). We should all be having a good time and both be getting to the finish line. I bet if they polled how many woman actually orgasm during those few minutes from start to finish it would be 5%. So ladies, be your own advocates, stop faking and tell your partner what you need. Whether that includes intercourse after you finish or at all. Our bodies need different things and that's ok ;)

I really don't like touch & go sex, but does 1 hour or more on overall sex normal? and for some reason I like to do more round for longer time.

That really surprised me! We’ve been together for 12 years (my whole adult life) so don’t really know a lot but for us from start to finish it can be anywhere from 45minutes - 2 hours if we haven’t had much alone time in a week or 2.. usually time frame an a little over an hour. Is that normal for anyone else

Been married for 8 years. For me and my partner, 20 min is too short. 45 min is the ideal and we often stop at that range, but only after i asked my wife if shes ok for me to stop or not 😅. Tried for more than an hour (70+ mins), it was pleasing but was very exhausting, my wife was actually wanting more than that. Never tried for half and hour

how can you talk to your partner about it. If i take an hour I take an hour. If i take 2mins I take 2mins it may not be possible to shorten or extend

These lower end numbers have got to be a major lie. What is it about “statistical data” that wants sex to be 5mins or less? Me and my significant other on average are 30mins or more.
