I once went with my friend with benefits from work for 3 hours. That's with change of position, she was on top, then I was on top, bit of foreplay. I was in my mid 20s then and she her mid 30s, she was the one who told me "Don't stop" so I kept at it. I think Meghan described one of the other fundamental flaws with most conservatives. They are more uptight talking about sex than just about any other subject because they've been taught by the church from the time they are little that sex is bad. Conservative church goers are subtlety taught that sex is bad, but when they grow up and find out sex is good (see I understand that conservatives like sex), it is a contradiction for them. That's why it was so hard for Meghan to talk about sex. She really likes it but was subtlety taught from an early age that sex is bad. So the cognitive dissonance doesn't lie with me, it lies with religious conservatives. Now to reply to your comment. Looking at the studies, most of the statistics about enjoyment of sex lives do favor Republicans but the differences are within the uncertainty limits of the questions and are mostly very small. But Democrats do have sex far more frequently, so for me personally in the case of sex, I'd take quantity over quality any day. There's no right or wrong answer between quality over quantity or quantity over quality, it's all personal preference.

I don't really think that churches are preaching that sex is bad, but what they do preach about sex is frequently interpreted as them saying that sex outside of marriage is bad. And I just have to disagree with that. Nature (not a god) has given us strong sex drives and repressing those urges goes against nature in my mind. And for the Catholic Church to still say to this day that the use of condoms is evil is unrealistic, ineffective, irresponsible and immoral in my mind. The Catholic Church should be teaching responsible sex practices, not equating a piece of latex to the devil.
