Jones has been hiding down at LHW his entire career with the same height/reach as Francis Ngannou. He took fights vs literal Middleweights rather than moving up to make super fights with Cain Velasquez, Fabricio Werdum, Anthony Johnson or Francis(not to mention Stipe in his 30's). I don’t really think it would affect toms legacy let’s face it it took Jon over 3 years to become a heavyweight and then win a belt against someone who lost to the last guy who had the belt and had given up on that jones fight as soon as the contract was signed!
