Good to know. The Bambulab A1 is a true joy for me to use - virtually hazzle free. It just prints at a great quality.

I received my A1 Mini a week ago, I am a first time 3D printer user and I am delighted with this amazing little machine. I have printed a dozen or so items with 100% success. My son, who uses an Ender 3 and been printing for quite a while, is amazed at the quality and speed, to the point where he is looking at passing print jobs onto my Mini as it is faster and more reliable. I have been following your channel since starting on this journey and am extremely thankful for your content as it has helped ease me into this new world. Cheers

I was just wondering and have had the same experience lol great product from Bambu Labs. I can not wait to add more A1 printers to my collection. Absolutely a dream to work with. Please, if you are on the fence about getting this printer, do it! You will 💯 not regret it

I'm so unlucky with my A1 mini. Turned out my heating block assembly was faulty and support did not believed it so I had to purchase a new one. This caused me a lot of issues with Z-offset. Every time I'm printing 0.2 mm nozzle its getting clogged to the point I can't unclog. (Thats the reason I'm buying aftermarket screwable 0.2 nozzles, at least I dont have to throw out the entire hotend, only the nozzle part). The hotend heating assembly heating properties also Went down under half a year to non existent. And the funny thing that almost all of the part of the printer count as "consumable" So you won't really get warranty for them, only when it is initially faulty

Very good to know! I just purchased an A1 Mini back in the beginning of April and was also curious how long a nozzle would last. Typically replacing a brass nozzle every 3-4 months with moderate usage on my other printers.

i changed out one of mine recently because filament kept getting stuck in it. the problem stopped after i changed the nozzle. But it took months before i had an issue and i pretty much print all the time like you.
@QlapYT6 ай бұрын
Were you able to fix it? I’ve gone through 2 Bambu lab 0.2mm nozzles and they’ve both been completely unable to extrude any filament. Do you have any tips?
@MindmeldTech6 ай бұрын
@@QlapYT I have well over 1000 hours on my A1s. Normally after I change the nozzle I'm good for a while. How much are you printing and how long between nozzle changes?

When I decided to get a new printer, I was amazed how much Bambu had changed the game since I bought my printer 5 years ago. Not only did the A1-mini have all the improvements I was looking for in a better printer (good quality minis, less manual tweaking, higher speed, quiet) it was also the cheapest pick on the market. The fact that it also apparently requires less service and replacing parts feels almost unreal

The only issue I have had at my 4 printer farm (1 a1, 2 P1S's, 1 P1P) is flow rate with the amount of printing I push on them. The stock are good all around, but I upgraded to 2 high flow revo, and 1 biqu nozzle and let me tell you easily 50 percent faster. The a1 is still stock as there is not a nozzle out there that improves on it yet. I would also add it seems my layers have better adhesion also with the biqu, and high flow revo.

So what should I use to completely clean the outside of it? About once a month I take the silicone sock off and wipe all that stuff out. Don’t really want to take a brass brush to the end of my nozzle and damage it though. But it’s driving me nuts that I can’t get all the teeny tiny bit of plastic completely off
@kimmotoivanen8 ай бұрын
Have you tried changing filament without using the cutter? I'll be installing A1 heater and nozzle to Ender 3 clone for easier nozzle changes (and not stripping threads from aluminum heat block). I wonder if E3D Revo -style long retraction after print would be enough to allow pulling filament out of cold nozzle? At least BL has used similar long retraction before cutting to reduce poop on filament change and they don't seem to clog on cold zone...

New to printing. My nozzles are getting sll gummed up half way through prints and failing with super fine spaghetti. Stops extruding right and then forgets where it is at. Mine is about 3 weeks old. I do the cold pull thing. Maybe get 1 good print then back to failing. Idk what I am doing wrong. Thought it was because of the .2mm nozzle but switched to the .4. Started happening there too. Feel like I should replace the nozzle and see if anything changes. Bed adhesion is great it’s alway afyer about an inch or two of build it starts

I recently got my A1 Mini up and running and it's been an absolute godsend. So much so that my Ender 3 is going in the trash. I've replaced literally everything that can be replaced and it still clogs constantly. The A1 Mini so far has been infallible.

One thing I don't care about with the A1 that I have, just about ALL the screws in the machine are this same little itty bitty size, easily stripped, and some parts could use just a little larger screws for better strength.

I would have thought that if you are just printing plastics without additives, like carbon fibre etc, you shouldn't get any ware at all. Pure molten plastic is not abrasive.

Yes, it is. Just look at what water can do to rock. Here is a video I did showing what just standard PLA did to Ender 3 nozzles: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJ6XdpeQp7CFq6csi=aTF1vOJ-RqGKx2Ac
