talking to people who got me into Haruhi about Endless 8 made me realize there are few things i hate more than trend chasers and posers. they'd talk non-stop about wow, cool, deep, super interesting anime with the first season, but has absolutely nothing to good to say about Endless 8, even though you can clearly see the amount of work that has gone into each episode and the care they took with the all the differences. the story just wouldn't work if they didn't do it that way, yet all of my friends hated it and brushed if off and i don't even like everything about Haruhi.

It's been well over a year since my first time watching Haruhi, it's a nice show that I'd love to revisit in the future, I couldn't imagine rewatching it all 8 times though, pretty crazy dedication! I started watching this video very briefly then went and watched all 8 episodes. Was decently cool earlier on when trying to figure out the way out. I thought it would be him taking the first few days off to do his homework to get to enjoy the rest of the summer. I was happily surprised when new bits of discovery were being added. But then pretty much every episode from 3 to 7 were the exact same. I kinda stopped expecting anything new at that point, and appreciated it for the way it would merely reframe the situations. Was hoping for a bit of a bigger reveal where he actually pieces together what has been going wrong. I also thought it would require him to suggest an activity to fulfill her, as she was the only to always do everything. Or perhaps just show appreciation for her.

Instead of each episode being a loop, it'd be each season that has some subtle and some obvious differences, with a movie finale of everything coming together
