Afterwards, she kept saying that the other ladies had something to do with her being fired. Sometimes between last summer and this year, another comedian called out Loni saying that she had something to do with Tamar being fired. She wanted to be the only black woman on the show or something. A hairdresser of Loni's verified the comedian and said she too was told the same thing by Loni. At some point, Tamar stopped talking about it and moved on to other things, yet Loni kept bringing it up whether it be on the show or on her social media platform. Tamar continued to stay quiet. On the 1000th episode of the real, out of the blue, Loni says on the show with tears that this was Tamats 1000th episode as well. The other women on the panel looked uncomfortable. Now if this statement came from anyone else, it wouldn't have been an issue, but everyone knows Tamar feels someway towards Loni and they are NOT friends. So it was awkward to watch. Anyhow, in the now, Loni wrote a book and in it is her side of what happened with Tamar and the real and their friendship I suppose, hence this interview clip. It just comes of disingenuous and like she is using this particular incident to raise her book sales. As you can see in this clip, she blames her writing this on her fans being nosy. When asked where her and Tamar stand, she doesnt necessarily answer the question, and laughs it off like, oh I guess we are cool, knowing damn well they aren't. Either way, it's like stop talking about it already. It's been hella years now, yet only one party ( Loni), keeps bringing it up.

I have to disagree with a lot of these comments. I understand that this is old news, but I do not think that Loni is using Tamar to promote her book. Loni has been trying to contact Tamar for years. When Tamar was fired, she was the only one to speak out and clear things up immediately, and on her own. She used to tweet at Tamar months after the firing saying things like “the holiday or thanksgiving season makes me think about you” or whatever she said (I’m just paraphrasing). I understand that it’s a very old subject, but the ladies are now able to address it, and multiple women have come out of the woodwork with claims that attacked Loni’s character FIRST. Loni is within all of her right to clear HER name and tell HER side of the story in HER book. Tamar may have moved on from the situation, but you also have to remember that her character isn’t the one being attacked by potentially false claims. None of us are in the position that any of these ladies are in, and we are not in the television or talk show business, so to be so quick to take a few people’s word as bond, with little to no proof, and crucify somebody for wanting to tell their side fully in their own way is a bit unfair.

i'm tired of people saying "my truth", either it's the truth or it's not. i never cared for loni. i saw a couple of episodes when tamar was on, she was the one that stood out. there could have been some jealousy. also, anyone who watched the braxton's saw how difficult tamar could be to work with, only they know what really happened.

I don’t care for Loni or Tamar, but you can’t keep telling one person to “let it go” and “stop talking about it” when FANS and people who like a bunch of mess won’t let it go. The question about Tamar ALWAYS comes up regardless of if she wants to talk about it or not, blame the interviewers. And plane the petty squad for not giving Loni a break. No one is on Tamar’s posts asking about Loni, but people comment to Loni about Tamar

THIS!!!!!!!! when Tamar went on The View, the Steve Harvey radio show, the Wendy Williams Show, and a bunch of others, no one batted an eyelid. She quite literally on every one of those and more was like I guess we didn't get along *side eye*, as if the ladies were doing shit behind her back as if they got her fired, even though she didnt know!! Like she said, she never got an answer, so throughout the tour she just kept saying i never got a reason and then the host would ask but you and the girls seemed to be friends, and shed say something like well IIII thought so but.... and its like the Real never opened their mouths and i am guessing its for legal purposes. So in the Breakfast club they finally got to say their piece or rather Loni shared what occurred at least from her end. cus Vinnnncccceee was saying her name. and we all know VINCEEEEE

I love Loni Love, yes she is really smart. But she is also a great comedian. Loni Love Makes Me crack up almost all the time, but above all she is really smart and I do listen to the things from her. That I can relate to and no of what is true or not true. Loni Love is truly a genius

When I first started watching "The Real" I had no idea who any of these ladies were but Tamar Braxton was over the top for me in a very negative way. She seemed like a Debbie downer, rude and crabby. I couldn't understand why she was even there. She didn't fit in and I would have fired her too if I'd had the power. I was very glad to see her go and no matter how it came down the show was MUCH better off without her. I've been wanting to say this since she left.

It’s called publicity people, she’s selling a book! What would get the most attention? Also for the people saying stop bringing it up, if she brought it up and it was ignored and no one talked about it, the issue would be dead. But clearly people still want to know/ hear about it. Also does anyone not find it weird that Tamar hasn’t legally fought the situation with Lonnie? It’s probably because the real issue was Vince not Lonnie, maybe she felt Lonnie should have taken up for her but I personally don’t think Lonnie has enough power to get someone taken off the show. I still believe it was contractual and it was her husband- manager... Tamar could have been squashed it with the truth. That’s my opinion outside looking in.

The REAL deal is they stole this show concept from Tatyana Ali. Ashley from The Fresh Prince. Her Idea, period. She did not get a development deal and was pushed out. She sued and lost. Tell that story.
