►About This Video: I went through a major transformation after I lost everything, so I shifted the paradigm of value in my life, but until 2009, when I lost everything, from the time I started working out of law school until I literally lost everything and transformatively changed my perspective. Losing Everything is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Last year around this time, my husband lost his job and ended up having his car repoed. Fast forward to a few weeks later, the engine on my Yukon went out. This moment was rock bottom for me. It made me realize that it was time to take my dreams that I was sitting on and make them a reality. Its fourth-quarter and losing is not an option.

I've lost everything gambling. My own fault and didn't catch myself in time. Now at 57 I'm trying to build back up some kind of retirement from what I have done to myself. Just looking for something positive to build on and get out of this jam. thanks

I know what it's like to lose everything. I am not going to blame so and so who played a role or contributed to my job loss etc. I do not blame them anymore. So I looked at the mirror and I said to myself "learn your lesson n move forward" moving forward does not mean the people who caused problems are off the hook. It's not admitting fault. I noticed in life people will shit on you. Problems will come. But I and only I am responsible for the out come. I learnt my lesson n I move forward. picking myself up was hard but I have to keep it moving and never fall for the same trap again.

I caused it... im not blaming everyone for my own foolish mistake and decision. I made one stupid decision after another. I did... lose my relationship, i lost my savings,.. and my investment totally crashed., and i knew it could happen, was told to take it out!.. but, once again,.. foolish decision. Then,.. foolish mistake,... and I lost my career job of 20yrs. That totally devastated me.. my job wasn't just employment. It was everything to me.

I'm trying to hang in there David. I am 60 and I haven't accomplished anything in my life. I know my life is all my fault. I tried to help all the wrong people and got taken advantage of left and right. I lost a job of 23 years that I was barely squeaking by on cleaning pools. I had a house that was worth 2x what I owed and then market crashed (09) and I couldn't sell it and lost the house I grew up in to foreclosure. Then my dad died and mother was already gone 10 years brother and sister took off to Florida (I'm in CT) around the time my mom passed. Never married no kids because I was so broke and thought I was financially inept. I helped a woman 23 years ago who was pregnant and helped raise her son, helping her buy a house. The kid was amazingly smart and the best kid you could ever meet. Thought we'd live out the rest of my life helping each other until he shot himself last June. It devastated me. And last year April I only had 74 dollars in my account. Got a pool job but it wasn't enough to get me through this winter. Thankfully I was getting a blood test and went to the wrong building and met a couple who I showed my photography art work to and they bought 15 20x30 metal prints to put up in their doctors office. She gave me the great complement that she can't wait for my photography to start healing people. It got me through this winter but now I have hardly any money to clear rent and they increased it 100 bucks just a few weeks ago. I'm in a quandary. I don't know what to do. I'm a great photographer I just know it (people on FB tell me all the time) but the business side is scaring the crap out of me. And now with the virus scare do you think anyone is buying photography fine art? I would like to hope so but I'm just so frozen with fear. I turned to you to get some encouragement and I see that you answered someone so maybe you'll read this and you could help. I think about what your friend did so many times in the past year or more but I know that my art is so damn good but I don't have the finances to get them printed. How do I get out of this hole I dug myself into. Believing in myself has been so hard to do. I don't want to give up but I don't have a clue. I drive a 93 jeep wrangler with 300G miles on it and its rusting out. I want to keep it in memory of this boy who I took home from the hospital when he was born in it and we use to talk about getting it restored. I so want to keep his memory alive by coming out of this and restoring that thing for us. I can't believe I'm such a wimp in life when I was a friggin Marine and guarded the fence line in GTMO Cuba when I was 19. I should be tougher than this but I let this life run all over me. I need to finish well and if you have any advice I'm all ears. Thank you for your video, it helped to get through another day. Peace!! If you want to email me gghohyeah@aol.com

Create healing art. We all need a healing and sometimes we just need to look at something that speaks to us. My husband, my 7 year old daughter and I just lost everything. Our business, our home, out savings and now are in a very difficult situation, but I'm looking forward and not back. I'm a healer and I am here to say that your art can help someone or many others. I wish I could be on a position to buy your artwork, but I can only give you words of inspiration. Who knows, maybe one day I will. So don't give up. Keep trying to help people even if they don't do anything in return. Be true to who you are. That's a power no one can take away from you. God bless you.
