But just don't forget to take as well, because it's just as much important! If you just continue to give yourself away, you will end up broke and empty-handed. So never be afraid to ask for help and take what you want. Because just like you love to give to others, most others will probably love to give to you as well - even though it often might not feel like it. If you really want results, play on people's self-interest, not their mercy or gratitude. Give them exactly what they want, and then they'll give you exactly what you want. So basically get in where you fit in.

People that come from literally nothing and make it, often feel an urgent need to give back to the less fortunate because they’ve been through that, ive been through that, i was poor to the point rainwater was pourinh through the sealing on my bed at 2 am.. hungry and no future ahead. But life continues and you eventually, with the right attitude and mindset you overcome that and grow out of it. You give it your all!!!!!!!!!!

David Meltzer’s perspective on ego impacted me so much with how he said he processes those emotions asking himself why does he feel that way and slowing going through them! I also love what he said about finding your center and realizing it really is again your ego. Lastly his thought process on asking and expecting to receive was so powerful. How many of us really ask or believe that we will receive? It takes time, but it really is all a belief. It’s that vibrant energy you’re able to flow through the world with when you see unlimited possibilities and he really embodies that mindset as does Tom.

I found this interview extremely powerful and empowering. There is so much about his journey and his code that I identify with. The most powerful moment for me was when he started to cry reflecting on his biggest failure. I hadn't been giving myself permission to face my failures, (because I don't know a productive way of doing it), many of which I have experienced this year. But I know that I can't grow without processing that aspect of life and I need to grow. So I decided to confess to a friend and ask for help and I got emotional and started to cry. It was extremely uncomfortable. That was this morning before I clicked on this video. Talk about serendipity! I am exceedingly grateful for this interview at this time. Thanks for the content that you put out.

Tom, my morning ritual for the past 2 1/2 years has been a video with my coffee, listening to different topics and channels, including yours when a video came up as the next in line. I realized for the past year or more I listen to your channel almost exclusively and you are the reason why. Your guests are interesting and offer a lot of valuable information but most can be found on other channels so it's not only the guests but it's your ability to connect with each one while connecting to your audience at the same time. You are able to show you have knowledge on the topic, you know your guest yet you approach each interview from perspective as a seeker of knowledge. Your enthusiasm and passion is sincere and the combination of having knowledge yet you are a seeker of it, along with everything else you add sets you apart from so many other channels. I suppose if I could wrap it up in a sentence, your interviewing style gives us (or me at least) the feeling that I am part of a relaxed, intimate exchange. Your talent if our gift.

35:55 "Double the amount of money you make as fast as you can" This part really struck out for me, because in my past I would create so much pain and resistance whenever I would make a Goal with a timeline. Say make X amount of money by X amount of time. And I would stress my self out so much, whenever I would get close to my date of achieving my goal and I was no where near where I wanted to be and it would discourage me. This really opened up my eyes and allowed me to enjoy the journey as well.

This was an amazing broadcast. The lessons David had to share you can take to the bank. We sometimes think everything revolves around money. Don't get me wrong you need money to do and create the things you want to help others. The big point I took from this is we don't have to chase money. There is enough. There is no shortage of anything. Whatever you want to create the universe will help you do that. With that comes gratitude. We must be grateful for the good, bad, and ugly, that life throws our way for there are lessons in all of it.

Hi David, I have become aware of you today because of Tom's show. Your analysis of ego is an inspiring and personal view of it and of you as it's creator back then. Some of the things you used to say when in the ego state, I have heard from my own family. Thankyou for the phrase, "Enjoy the pursuit of your potential". I know I have potential but feel clouded at being able to identify it, to be able to persue it. I am great at garment design/making; singing; tidying up things. I have a husband and 2 adult children and my 'career' has been a stay-at-home-mum. and I am also, a bit older than you. Is there anything you could suggest to me please. Best wishes, Suzie.
