\about the Korean Huntress, I would like DC and Marvel to outsource a bit. For example, the creative team behind the Netflix animation 'Blue Eye Samurai' could do something cool with Wolverine. Or an anime based on Peach Momoko's 'Demon Days'. Loads of potential to do stuff outside of the main "cinematic universe"

Several late 1980s DCs like Sandman #1 had cover paper stock that is sensitive to abrasions at the spine. It started years earlier, common to New Format series. That I believe is why a 9.8 can be elusive. Anyway, the interior paper is not bad at all.

Russ meant “Mando paper.”This was a much brighter and whiter non-glossy replacement for newsprint. The ink didn’t soak into the paper as much as newsprint, so the colors were much brighter (which often looked odd in the era before computer coloring was a thing). Quality was in-between Baxter and Newsprint paper books and DC advertised this increase in quality in the 80s, calling "New Format" when they rolled it out. One of the first comics to use Mando paper was Swamp Thing #60; it was also used on Green Arrow, Shade, Sandman, Hellblazer, and other Direct Market/mature readers books. At Marvel, Sensational She-Hulk and Excalibur were ongoing series that used Mando paper. Baxter Paper was the next level up from Mando. It was a heavier higher end😮 acid-free white paper stock that DC got on board with first, but Marvel also used. It was used by DC for the Direct Market versions of New Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes, Vigilante, Omega Men and others. It was also used for high end reprints for New Gods, Manbat, Roots of Swamp Thing, Manhunter, Deadman, Green Lantern/Green Arrow and other runs before trade paperback collections were a thing. Marvel used it for reprints such as X-Men Special Edition, Phoenix the Untold Story, Steranko's SHIELD and Captain America, Fantastic Four Annual 1, and others. The next tier was the semi glossy stock DC used for the Dark Knight 4 issues series in 1986 by FM.
