i'm hoping to try painting this year, and i've watched part 1 and part 2 and they're both very helpful, thanks!! Question: you used the intercoat to mix the flakes because it dries faster, but then you used a regular clear coat for the 3 coats after the flakes. Why did you choose that for that part? Also using metalflake or pearls in a topcoat clear the flake or pearl can move while it is drying and you will see it. Ask me how I know.

You Can always get free metal such as fenders or even hoods at junk yards you would be surprised how many junk yards would just give it away or either for free or $10 that's where I get my parts

Doing complete front suspension on 08 compass struts stabilizer pins and control arm. Also inner and outer tie rods. Already did all 4 wheel master brake repair. Then off to the alignment shop.

lol, no not at all I have all the guns that they have sent, the only thing is that with these types of paint jobs if you don't clean the gun right you will end up with a gun as a paperweight. So I try not to use top of the line guns for this
