Great video man. If this is your first lowrider work mad respect for the design. Symmetrical point of view was a bit off but it will get better every time. Taping your design is the hardest part. If I may give you and your followers a few pointers, with respect, which I didn’t hear you mention: - when taping your design put down a small piece of tape on your corners. This keeps the corners from lifting when taping your design. - a huge fundamental in spraying Candy is spraying more light coats instead of less and heavy coats. The darkness of your color is made with the numbers in coats. - if you want to lay down some drop shadows like you did to give it more dimensional try it with Candy Black next time. If you don’t have Candy Black you could try really over reducing black base coat to make it transparent. - when airbrushing fine details or a small part just fold up your masking tape. This prevents the overspray on a part you don’t want it and saves you time and effort of masking a big part. - mix ratio is important because too much candy and the chance of blotching is big, beginners will not know when they added too much concentrate. Also there is a difference between mixing for airbrush or full size, for airbrush you could go a bit heavier with the concentrate because this usually is for a small part and you can get result faster. Keep up the good work with informing/educate beginners to let them start with their first project. I like to watch your videos 👌🏻

Definitely good practice to wear gloves so the oils and salt from your skin doesn't contaminate the panel. Also always cut the tape cause if you stretch it the adhesive gets compromised and the width of the line changes. Definitely an expert at work here. I know just enough to get myself into trouble. I'm hoping that changes after watching and practicing a lot

FYI, you are using the end of the ruler as “0”, but the end of your ruler is not “0”. The “0” is a few mills in, around an 3/16” in. It may not be a big deal for this panel, but it can throw off your centers, making a compound calculation wrong and unpleasant to the eye. Thanks for the tutorials.

That was really cool! I think your culture are the only ones that can truly master the Low Rider paint job's! I love seeing them at car shows and how they get them very intricate and they are always in crazy beautiful colors! Just to throw this out there for others who hasn't seen one in real life he just designed a real easy simple design on the to just show the basics! And it was still beautiful especially with those blues! But I was wondering could you tell us not only what you are using to spray with could you tell us all your setting and what needle size too please. I paint motorcycles now for friends, I'm disabled now so I can't paint cars anymore from breaking my back. I have noticed my guns and stuff are getting too old and I am wanting to upgrade my mini gun and air brushes and I need a new one and was seeking advice and if you could buy any air brush & mini gun type & model of it you wanted what would you recommend? I am thing in air brush wise either an Iwata, Harder & Steenbeck, Grex are my top 3 but if you think their is a better one please let me know. Same as the mini gun what would you choose? Thank you.

I get that this was for demonstration purposes and I think you do great work but theres no way that you couldn't see how far off you were on making the pattern symmetrical. One side is way off from the other side. One way to ensure there exactly the same is to do the pattern on one side, lay down some paper, rub over with a pencil, it traces the pattern, flip it over and its identical for the other side..still a good demo though..
