Whats up with the odd and bizarre extremely open ended question hiring managers ask us in interviews like: "How would you do a process mapping?" and then I ask then. "Is it from a legacy application? Is it a SaaS application? (cloud) what is the relationship with the database? What is the database?" And then they get shy because it is such a broad question and so generic that it is almost impossible to answer it correctly and seriously if we don't have more info and context on how things are laid out first before answering.

Hi Emal, thanks for your videos. I'm based in the UK and trying to break into the BA market. I'm working towards accreditation and have a background predominantly in Learning and Development. How would you recommend I get into a Junior role, preferably permanent.

Hi Nick, if you have domain experience in Learning and Development, a natural fit for you may be the LMS Business Analyst role. Just type in "Enterprise LMS business analyst" into google and you will find plenty of BA job postings for that area of specialization. Your background is in a growing field and I see a lot of growth opportunities for your career if you can transition into a BA role and specialize in LMS (learning management systems).
