How could any decent human being send this treasure of a person a negative message? Mandy is a positive example for the hearing impaired world that anything can be a positive even when life throws a negative at you. Bravo Mandy!

This is a great example of how much "feel" there is in vocalizing speech or singing. The vibrations, the feel of your mouth movements, etc.

Beautiful inside and out. I watched her performance on AGT. It was an original song and it was phenomenal.

Love her so much! Thank you to Gov. Huckabee for giving her a platform, well-deserved . She has the same connective tissue disease that I do, and while it *has* affected my hearing, it's nowhere near her severity. But she gives me hope that I could go on, even if it did come to that. #zebrasunite #EhlersDanlos

Consider: Rush Limbaugh lost his hearing, yet continued to function well on a radio talk show. Earlier, success guru Napoleon Hill's son Blair was born not only without hearing, he didn't even have the rudiments of ears. Yet his father was determined that his son would gain 100% of his hearing, trumping "common sense" with faith. Napoleon Hill was so determined his son would gain hearing that he refused to let Blair learn sign language. The boy learned to hear through bone conduction of vibration, and up through college was able to develop 65% of his hearing. He gained the other 35% when a company working on a new kind of hearing aid heard his story and invited him to try their product. He became a spokesperson for the product and a great inspiration to "handicapped" people.
