Who would have thought? 5 extra bales on that roll. The next brand will probably only have one LOL

Wow I thought this was a antique farm machinery show from the 60’s until I saw the cars on the road were from 2020’s.

Great video! But you can’t make fun of the JD balers baby powder trick when that thing has a net wrap system designed by Stevie Wonder!! 🕶
@lukestrawwalker2 жыл бұрын
The one thing I DO like about that one is, the netwrap is out front where you can see it... nothing beats the old mark 1 eyeball to make sure it's wrapping the bale. Later! OL J R :)

I’ve never seen a round baler with that chain roller system. We have a deutz-Allis round baler and it has rollers all around the bale chamber no belts. It basically makes a soft core bale. As the bale gets bigger the bale gets packed tighter and takes more horsepower to finish the bale off.
@boehmfarm42763 жыл бұрын
I never understood what good there was for a soft center bale. The only this about the baler is that there's not springs or air bags to worry about for tension.

@@boehmfarm4276 They were popular because they were a cheap way to put up hay, that's about it. Simpler design less movable parts (belts, chains, belt tension arms, etc) but more rollers, and they basically all have to drive for the bale to turn, particularly when it's small and not packed tight... Later! OL J R :)

What happened to the doors on your 1086? Tractor Ac don’t work. We have a 1086 and we got the Ac charged and it works great. Good tractors

What is that tearable screech, too much lube?
@boehmfarm42763 жыл бұрын
That's how you make er really scream! The noise while wrapping is the metal bits that hold the roll. Never really been lubed., probably not thought of at engineering either.
