Haybots are the smartest of all and the tape bots are second with the farmbots. Totebots seem to have been created by the farmbots and haybots, wich must be why they are so dumb. Also please play astroneer again... or terratech. They've both evolved a lot since the last time you played these.

With a maze made of big hay bales(indestructible) the Hay bots are the only bots that could get to the crops in the middle.

im just wondering, what happens if you plant some seeds so it triggers a raid, leave so the raid doesnt start and then go to the base at like 3:30AM so the raid starts at that time and then see if they actually leave at 4AM.

@21:30 the hitbox for his attack is interacting with the beam above him and missing the broccoli he's attacking which is glitching and not registering the attack on the beams he actually hit while trying to hit..... It's a basic bug that's in the system of Scrap Mechanic..... He changes his orientation periodically which they used to try and reset as an easy fix for this AI bug, but its still very basic and could use more work :-D There are Ai specialists out there you can hire to help fix this sort of issue, but you need to have a few thousand dollars laying around for a basic fix :-D

Very cool. Interesting to see how the AI deals with certain things. You should try this again with your defenses turned on. Kind of a "Bot vs. Base" showdown. Either way, awesome vid as usual.

18:45 it's not your base that's good but the enemy behavior that's bad. 24:30 you could raise the watering system to lower the chances of it being damaged even more.

I think the raids with the big bosses would have been much worse, when your defenses would have been up, as those bosses would likely be killed and their explosions would do massive damages as you've seen that before. Only one boss, blew up all ramp pieces around him, the tires and a he blew a big hole into you wall. So turning the defenses on could have a negative than a positive effect.

I think the boss hit box is bigger than the height between the catwalk and floor so it needed to carve more to get through.

Day:68 Try to make a all terrain vehicle or a vehicle that can survive in it's own in survival or creative mode. Make a bedroom with a wardrobe where the dressbot goes in, a kitchen for the cookbot with a dining area.

I think if you ran this same thing a couple of patches ago - at or before the patch where they allowed haybots to mash T3 metal, things would have gone differently. I bet the nerf they did for T3 metal wasn't just for T3 metal - it was across the board.
