I was looking forward to this so much! Then when i saw that you used the amd video card again i was so disappointed. With all do respect, please don't use a graphics card that has not only performance issues, but doesn't have enough performance as a 2080ti to alleviate the bottlenecking of the gpu itself making the cpus sit there with similar fps. If you completely eliminate the graphics bottleneck with a 2080Ti and test the games at 1080p on medium settings only then will we see the true values of how many frames per second each cpu can churn out. 4 to 6 to 8 what is the max fps the system can run with no gpu bottleneck is the goal. I can't wait for this test as noone has done it yet. You have gotten so close twice, the 3rd time will be the charm Willaim let's finish this test with the best tech video yet!

Plus, with the AM4+ motherboard upgrade pathway, I can upgrade to a 3900x once prices come down with the release of 4000 series of Ryzen processors and I can utilize the same x470 motherboard, memory and cooler. That's a win win situation. Regarding the 5700xt and it's drivers, hence why I purchased the 2060 Super after almost 18 years of buying ATI/AMD since 2002 with the first ATI Radeon 8500 128 MB card.

is a 2600 good enough for gaming and streaming ? or gaming alone? ive noticed some nice prices so im thinking about it.

Love your videos but my dude you gotta test with an rtx card and use more in game benchmarks instead of doing live gameplay on different maps no less! Your average results are all over the place confusing viewers.

I prefer the live gameplay. EVERY other channel does the built-in stuff and synthetics and it really doesn't say much. It doesn't show input latency...oh and my favorite game isn't Cinebench. lol. You can look at synthetics all day long, but when it comes down to it, I had a better gaming experience gaming on a Xeon X5675 than I did on a Ryzen 7 1700, even though the 1700 beats it in every single canned test. Intel optimizations are a real thing, and sometimes it's how something feels, not how many FPS it gets. I understand you're looking for repeatable results, but live gameplay is just going to show you so much more.

I currently own the i7 7700k and play games like The Witcher 3, Monster Hunter World, Star Wars: Fallen Order etc and i do Stream but not AAA games. Is it worth me upgrading my CPU? I'd preferably like to go Ryzen and I'd like to be future proofed for at least 5yrs+. Or should i wait for DDR5? @Tech Deals

I agree I was using a i7 2600 for daily computing and games without any problems. It depends on what you do and what type of games you play.

I have an Intel 4 core, 8 thread cpu from 2012 and I can run multiple games, browsers, and listen to music on it. I find it hard to believe that a 6 core, 12 thread twice as fast as what I have couldn't do the same thing.

Like if you believe Tech deals is better than those 1mil+ channels. I want him to review more tech especially phones and stuff.
@rickylonghaul6825 жыл бұрын
I agree he's one of the best channels out there, easily beating every channel over 1M. I disagree though that I would want him to spend any of his time reviewing phones. He'd be good at it, but he'd lose time he could be spending on videos like this.

The recently released Ryzen 1600 AF is a great budget choice if you live in the US. It's basically a slightly underclocked Ryzen 2600 and It's currently $85 on Amazon.

Love your vids. As I know you've already gotten input on, losing the bright white background would be a huge improvement. It's not like we can dim it from this side...if only...

I do mostly gaming, but I also use my PC for media purpose. When I play a game, have a stream running and browse the internet all at once, the I5 6600k isn't cutting it anymore. Even overclocked.

IMO I don't notice a game running in lower resolution when I'm in the middle of a battle trying to keep from getting killed. At that time I'm not looking at the scenery or detail lol.

I love your videos. In other tests so many times you see statements like "We used a 2080TI to take away any GPU Bottleneck" in CPU roundups, yet 99% of people can't afford that! Tech, by using a mid range GPU instead you have given realistic results to most people! thanks for thinking about the masses rather than theoretic! I truly think this is what separates your videos from other tech-tubers and makes you the best on KZbin!

Does going 8 core 3700X or 3800X still hold up over the 5600X? Or is that theory just thrown out the window? Hard to tell the future with core needs with games. So many benchmarks are just CPU-limited games.
