GTA V favors having strong quad core performance. First gen ryzen had a single core boost while the rest are lower clocks. 2000 series Precision boost 2 kinda fixed it but it still was lacking in IPC and clock speed. 3000 series has the cache for lower latency and PBO to keep your CPU boosting at it's highest as long as it within spec and thermal constraints . So you will actually see that in older games that intel used to dominate Ryzen 3000 is also doing as well if not better.

These videos are just what the people with limited budgets need! These videos answer and contemplate EXACTLY the same questions I have when I start upgrading my system every 3-5 years(like just now) So questions like what's the current best bang for buck processor/GPU/memory? And I think I'm not alone so I expect this channel to keep growing. Also I like a lot the way things are presented. There is no selling (which I HATE!!) but just evaluating the components and wondering where you should put your money now to get the best deal. And on top of that the clear presentation, no annoying music, high quality sound/video.. these videos are just joy to watch. Thank you sir, you are doing a service which is greatly needed and appreciated. :)

These comparisons are really interesting, pls keep this series! The XX80 Ti traditionally becomes the XX50 Ti after 2 series. 780 Ti -> 1050 Ti 980 Ti -> 1660 Ti (is nothing more than a GTX 2050 Ti with a massive price increase, so was renamed to justify it.) 2060 is nearly as fast as a 1080, which is at least 25% faster than a 980 Ti. H370 wouldn't allow you to run 3200 RAM, so performance on the i7 would be less. Buy the 3600, it is 50 bucks cheaper without any performance loss.

If you're on a tight budget, I think the 1600 (non X) is what you should be looking at. It includes a stock cooler and is $105 on Newegg right now. Pair that with the PowerColor Red Dragon rx 570 for $120 (on Newegg) and you've probably got the best price/performance 1080p PC you can currently build.

Is the additional 50$ between the 3600 and the 3600x is worth it ? There is only a 2% difference on userbench between these 2, and 8% between the 3600 and 3700x. Im worried about the wraith stealth with the 3600, its way smaller than the wraith spire, how does these two compare ?

@@nejihyuga5338 24% performance increase for 100 dollars is not good enough, especially 29% for 200 dollars more with 8700k. So the smart way to go is to buy 125 dollar 1600x and then buy whatever processor would cost 125 dollars in few years, I bet it would be some 8 cores and 16 threads cpu by then which certainly will be better than 3600x.
