@@TheTimothyThibodeaux no. For extreme slowmo you need very high light levels. Look how bright their studio is during this entire video. That's for a good reason. They likely filmed the sparklers bit in the fully lit room and you can see how dark even that shot got during the fairly tame slowmo.

Quick safety fact that's neato: Sparklers deflagrate (burn/explode-ish) exponentially, meaning the more you have compressed, the hotter and faster they burn disproportionate to the ammount of sparklers burning. (EG 1 has a power of 1, 3 have a power of 10 and 5 have the power of 100 for a theoretical example) Be careful with 'em! I don't want to post the recipe in the comments, but it's dangerously easy to make a pipe bomb accidentally with them strong enough to (not to be graphic) but easily remove a limb. (In short, never light more than say, 10 sparklers in your hand at once.Blowing stuff up is EPIC, but blowing yourself up is not.) Cheers! P.S. Never tie anything around sparklers, especially tape. Ask a friend who's into chemistry or firearms to explain.

Yeah, the important part of the wrench throw was the angle. It was practically linear in it's force and travel, concentrating the momentum and such onto one small area of the head. If it had landed long-ways, I'd wager 2, maybe a lucky 3.

Y'all should throw through magazines or newspapers next! Also, with the contests you've introduced the possibility for someone to get way more or less throws. By my count, Herron got 8 and Stanford got 7 to Gaunson's 5. The multipliers definitely helped even it out, but y'all should still make sure that everyone gets the same number of throws. Maybe if you win a greenie it just replaces your next draw, and the person who drew it draws again if they didn't win?

Might be interesting if the greenies are kept separately and then one gets pulled after every other round as a bonus throw. That way nobody misses out on a round but everyone still has a chance for one of the best items.

sheets of ice might be cool, but it would be similar to glass and would be hard to keep from melting too fast, also I think the reason a lot of these didn't go through as much drywall as you thought compared to glass is because it is much more flexible than the glass, you flex the glass a little with force and it shatters the drywall just gives and slows down the objects momentum
