The beginning of this reminds me of the story of Plato and Diogenes, where Plato once defined a man as a "featherless biped", and Diogenes, who *hated* Plato, charges into his academy holding a plucked chicken and calling it a man. It technically fit Plato's definition of a man, but everyone in that academy knew that chicken was not a man.
@BlacksmithTWD4 жыл бұрын
and so the Academy added "with broad flat nails" to the definition. This basically still is how we improve our definitions, in that regard there hasn't been much progress in the last 2000 years of civilization.

We can argue that reality doesn't exist without a human, or other sentient being, to perceive it. If this is true, then time must exist first.

@Tyler B #2 I have heard that. Why did he choose that one particular gender of one particular species on one particular planet at a particular time in evolutionary development? Are we to assume that we are the pinnacle of all creatures in all space and time...OR...does he feel bad for us (and himself by extension)? ( I vote for the latter)
