I think Capcom just don't want to show Jill getting older. If she was in Resident Evil VIIIage she would be physically 44 years old (technically she is actually 47 by 2021, but her aging was stopped for 3 years due to her being cryogenically frozen after RE5: Lost in Nightmares). The same is true for Chun Li from Street Fighter. Her most recent chronological appearance is in SF3 at the age of 31, but Capcom keeps placing the newer entries in the series earlier in the timeline, presumably to keep her looking young.

Jill and Leon have always been my favorite characters. They've very similar it fighting styles. They use a lot of kicks, and I have always been a fan of kicks. Taekwondo is still the first martial art I want to learn. I'm hoping when Covid ends and I am able to move I can finally start my Martial Arts journey instead of just following KZbin tutorials and going off my experience in Taekwondo as a kid.

It would be interesting to analyze Kryptonian martial arts. There are two we know of, Klurkor and Torgasm-Ro. In the comics, Lois Lane was a master of Klurkor during the Silver Age, and we've seen a number of Kryptonian villains (such as Faora-Ul and Del Im-Re) using these martial arts as well. In the various Superman movies we've seen enough examples of Faora and Zod using these techniques that you could probably take a shot at analyzing their moves.

That sounds interesting but I don't typically analyze fictional martial arts precisely because they are fictional. Anybody can make up the techniques as they go along and just say they fit in. Nobody really knows what those styles are as you usually only have drawings of techniques at one point in their execution.

Interesting video. Thank you. Just a few observations: gymnastics isn't a combat sport, nor a martial discipline. Hand-to-hand combat is taught both at military and police training -- technically aren't fighting styles, but combat disciplines. When you talk about "fighting styles" it usually means a school of martial arts or discipline. As a practitioner of martial arts, the difference matters. How you fight, is different to the way you fight.

I'm a fellow martial artist too, I would never be able to make these kinds of videos without that first hand experience. I know that gymnastics isn't a martial art. But it's a fighting styles video. Not a how many martial arts video. Sometimes they overlap. But sometimes a character turns something innocuous into a fighting style - but not a martial art. Spider-Man and Jill both turn Gymnastics into that. They appropriate moves from gymnastics into their fighting style, hence the name. you didn't include her combat style in Resident Evil Resistance (knifing enemy + front kick + reverse roundhouse). She also have finisher move using melee weapons there. And also her fighting style in Resident Evil RE: Verse.
