ha ha ha ..... this is cool !!! We have exactly the same car and everything is still original except brakes and tires and trunk lock does not hold and the trunk opens and I changed the light bulbs a few times. The engine works very well, gearbox very good, the oil is clean and the car has made over 380.000 miles ( 608.000 km) Toyota has no major problems.Just change the oil on time (3000-5000 miles max) and the car will drive and drive. If you take care of this car you won"t be disappointed ;))))))

I drive a 2010 Corolla with 218,000 miles. Mom had it new. I got it with 70k. Very reliable with basic maintenance. Recently started changing my own oil.

My 2003 Corolla S with Standard transmission and 162,000 ALL original still runs strong. No issues whatsoever besides regular oil change and brake pads.

Wait what was wrong with the manual transmissions in the older corollas? Usually the manual is more reliable than the automatics

Just 40 k miles in my Corolla 2018. I had to buy another one because my last Corolla 2015 get into total loss accident. This last one had 75 k miles, I would like to keep this cars until it keep running, but I live in Brazil we don´t have good roads so we don´t drive much, so It will be hard to put a high millage on it, but I will try. Our Corollas are different, they are European models, we use 1.8 and 2.0 liter engines. Only I Brazil We have 2.0 liter engines compared to other parts in the world. Mine is a Altis model, so it is fully loaded with all equipment. We don´t have camrys here, it is so big to our streets, so there are more expensive version of Corolla here, and believe me, our corollas are more beautiful than America corollas. It can run for a long long time and a long way, that´s why I love it.

My 2006 Toyota Corolla LE has 365000 on it -and I just bought it! Original everything except brakes and intake gasket. Great engines. VVT-i means the engine will easily last up to 800k miles. My 'new' one could use new front wheel bearings and a new A/C compressor but other than that it looks nearly showroom new. It's my 3rd Corolla. Things keep hitting them. First a Dodge Charger T-boned my 2007 LE @135K miles. Then last week a deer took out my 2009 Corolla LE @230K miles. So this new one should make it to 500K before, I donno, an airplane hits it?

2020 Corolla hybrid with 700 miles. First Corolla ever for me and mainly got it for the mileage and the safety features for when my wife drives it. Reading the speed limit signs, adaptive cruise, automatic breaking, lane assist, and much more made it an easy decision over the ionic, niro, and other cars I was looking to buy.

Your car will be just fine and congrats. I had a 2016 model that I drove for delivery and Uber. Got the car at 21,000 miles and put 150,000 miles when I had to turn it back in. The only thing I had to replace on the car was, tires and battery. Still had the original alternator and starter.

@@bry3685 Thanks. I actually want to see how it does with Uber. I did some driving before in my 2006 Nissan sentra, but it didn't seem to be worth it.

You should also point out then another great alternative would be the go / Chevrolet Prizm which was just a rebadged Corolla.
