Note: After seeing so many useless click bait videos of supposed workshop tricks never known by anyone before, I had to use a similar title to see what happens. The only difference is that this trick actually works, and is useful. It's not my idea anyway, but it's a good one. Merry Xmas everyone 😎😎 Cheers Rob

I've seen it before but when you don't use something often you tend to forget about it when it's finally needed. Great tip! Thanks for the reminder.

Very clever Rob. Will add that to the arsenal. Have 3D printed lots of dust adapters but holding them on tight is now going to be a breeze. Merry Christmas.

Excellent idea Rob 👍👍 When you mentioned a screw I was just thinking, how's he going to get a hole in that?? Nice trick 😂 Cheers, Alan.

Might be overboard to some, but I get rowdy while working. If it were me, I would put screws or rivets on each side as well. That way the stress from the vacuum hose is spread out. Good stuff amigo. Be safe and happy holidays

I did consider gluing it as well, but the hot wire trick worked well enough. Cheers Rob

It looked like the holes in the sander's pad only matches two of the holes in the sandpaper. Would new holes help draw the dust through?
@Xynudu16 күн бұрын
Good spotting. That pad is a cheapie from TEMU and the holes don't line up. I later used a wad punch to put a few extras in the correct place. TEMU pads have poor quality grit as well. I wouldn't buy them again. Cheers Rob

That is some amazing skills of talented man with create by of his own hands incredible secret trick

Hi Bill. And to top it off I'm not even Asian. I resisted putting "a million people don't know this secret trick" in the title coz that could infer it was click bait ,and I wouldn't want that. When you inform click baiters their secret trick is basic apprentice shit everyone knows and the miracle gadget they just made out of junk is a waste of time, they thank you (probably for the sucker click you did). So much of this stuff is out there now. Cheers Rob
