Blackjack... Machete... PP7... KF7 Soviet... Laser gun... Double grenade launchers. All from his back pockets. It's like Goldeneye on N64.

You forgot to mention the old trick of sewing silver dollars (not sure what the equivalent coin would be in the UK) into the back of your front cap, so it can be used like a blackjack.

In the Sheffield gangs wars in the 1920's the two favourites where a short fire poker in a pocket sewn in the jacket sleeve or razor blades stitched in the peak of the flat cap that basically all working class men wore at the time.

Unfortunately Americans due to the bizarre political situations are unable to get silver dollars so easily anymore but have to rely on paper Federal Reserve Notes. Doesn’t pack much of a whallop in any sense

Excellent points... I'm always interested in what people outside of the 🇺🇲 consider heavily armed.
@Inv1cto
@Inv1cto Жыл бұрын
*Here's how that is for us Americans:* Heavily armed: (concealed) 1, 2, or even 3 handguns, 3 or 4 knives, any sort of blackjack type thing, and possibly a walking stick or cane that could be either a shillelagh with a weighted end, or a sword cane with a blade hidden inside it. Heavily armed: (open carry) (semi-military equipment) Any sort of large rifle or shotgun, let's just say it's an M4A1-S, 1, 2, or 3 handguns, a few knives, one of which is about a foot long, and one larger blade like a short sword.

I like this video about bewaring of how someone can conceal weapons. Would be nice to see an updated video on what you can use which IS legal as a weapon for purposes of self defense, and how to carry them properly and safely for use. If there is such a video, forgive me, I just stumbled onto your site.

Saw the ring first off. My favorite was the coin--what did you call it?--kosh (?). And where in theeee hell didjyu pull that entire machete from, lol!! That pig sticker and machete, and really, the bike chain too (as modified) is awesome amount of legal trouble if you're caught just walking around with them. The ring is illegal over here (US) too (some places). But that coin bag/ leather sap is genius!

In my young rough teenagers years it was some cheap cs or oc spray and a (usually) folding knife or a heavy pipe, which was hard to hide on the body, so sts it was carried in the backpack. Guys carried also trench shovels or axes. Rarely big badass military fighting knives. Machetes then (80s in Eastern Europe) weren't popular at all, probably because they weren't available that easily. Flexible hitting implements like chains or flexible batons weren't popular because they were not producing bone breaking power, just pain and bruises. The key was always to (a) have those toys perfectly concealed and (b) readily available in one smooth move. I carried some small coins in left pocket, throwing them into the face always provided a distraction, very short lasting one, but long enough to take other actions. Edit correction: OC appeared sometime in the 90s and it was pretty weak at the beginning, it was CS in the 80s, not perfectly reliable but better than many people think nowadays.

Great video thanks. Weapons are to be felt not seen. Your hat could of had a weight sown into the pinning to make a slap Jack & who know what else is under the hat maybe a throwing star. Could have a gun in the other ankle or behind the back. Those suspenders could strangle some one too.
@holeymcsockpuppet
@holeymcsockpuppet 3 жыл бұрын
Other than the duster, most of those were rather cumbersome trying to deploy. If I sized you up, I would expect a push dagger in your waistband, the dusters, and possibly a straight razor concealed in the bracers (suspenders). Anything else would be irrelevant because you would have to let down your guard.

Howdy, mostly they’re for theatrical effect to showcase how hard it is to know what someone may carry. Few of those would be my personal choice. The variety just makes the example stick in minds better 🙏🥊

A heavy watch like a Diver's watch, take it off and hold the strap by the bracelet... Act as if you are giving it to them, a quick flick of the wrist to the nose, eyes or temple will do some damage. Especially as the are expecting you to give them a free watch, their defences will be done. Tried, tested and successful in the field.

Can you talk about legal self defence carryables? You are from the uk? Right?
@TommyMooreww2combatives
@TommyMooreww2combatives 2 жыл бұрын
To be honest buddy, nothing can be carried in the UK legally if you intend it for self defence. However you can get good at using items that no one could argue were for such a purpose (such as using a normal pen, phone, or whatever). But to be honest some of the best rewards for improvised items is not as weapons per se, but shields. Using bags / backpacks as a barrier against weapons until you get your shiz together. I have a backpack themed vid somewhere on my channel 👍

Bro you're not walking down the street with a machete not printing... c'mon now. And it doesn't matter how many weapons you have if you can't deploy them faster than an attacker can disable you. Better to have a few that you can deploy instantaneously and a few backup options than be loaded down with things you'll never get a chance to use.
