I'm 53, been divorced and living alone since I was 42. Never marrying again, my ex put me through enough. It's nice to come home to an empty house everyday that is mine, silence is golden, enjoying my own company is bliss.

I will start this list by stating that NO ONE is entitled to the fruits of YOUR labor. If you’re considering marriage, please read this first. 1. She will pressure you into marriage, when ironically, she is also more likely to divorce you. 2. If you leave her, you are viewed as a scumbag. If she leaves you, you are viewed as “not good enough.” 3. There is a 50% chance that you will get divorced. If you get divorced, there is a 70% chance that she will initiate the divorce. That means there is a total 35% chance of her leaving you. 4. American courts are biased against men. You will not get to see your kids and will have to pay child support/alimony. 5. During a divorce, she will take half or more of your total assets. 6. You are expected to spend 20% of your total income on an engagement ring. 7. During a divorce, she is not required to return the engagement ring 8. She can accuse you of rape and you will suffer, regardless of whether or not you actually did it. 9. If she rapes you, then no one will take it seriously. If it is vice versa, then all hell breaks loose. 10. She can hit you, and if you hit her back, you will get arrested for domestic violence. 11. She has total monopoly on sex. She chooses when to give you sex. 12. She can use sex as a tool to manipulate you. She will only give you sex if you do things for her. 13. You are expected to satisfy her sexual needs. She is not expected to satisfy your sexual needs. 14. After your first child, your sex life will die. 15. After you split up, the children will be conditioned to almost always blame you. 16. She can badmouth you to your children, causing them to resent you. 17. You are not allowed to tell her what to do because of feminism. But she is still allowed to tell you what to do. 18. If you upset her, she will punish you by emotional manipulation. 19. If you even mess up slightly, you are labeled as a “deadbeat dad/husband.” 20. But if she messes up, you are expected to “accept her flaws.” 21. She will try to change you and get angry if you don’t comply. 22. Women are more likely to get bored of the relationship. 23. Women are more likely to fall out of love. 24. Women marry up. That means you marry down. 25. Woman are taught that marriage is stability. Men are taught that marriage is responsibility. 26. If you get fired and end up unemployed, she will leave you so fast. 27. If you are going through a rough financial period, you will also go through a rough relationship period. 28. Money = sex. No money = no sex. Marriage is legalized prostitution. (Just buy a hooker). 29. If she divorces you and you are worse off financially than her, she still won’t have to pay alimony. 30. You will lose quite a bit of money through marriage: the wedding ceremony, buying her gifts, raising kids, divorce, etc. 31. During marriage, you will have no time for your hobbies. You will be expected to work and “support” your wife all the time. 32. If she doesn’t want to work, you are expected to support her in her decision. 33. If you don’t want to work, you are labeled as lazy and a leech. 34. Chances are, she won’t like your close high-school/college friends. 35. She will expect you to put her above your friends, even close friends that are more like brothers. 36. She will expect you to put her above your parents. She is your highest priority now. 37. If your parents end in poverty/homeless/terminally ill, then she will expect you to put them in a nursing home. 38. If you bring your parents home to live with you, she will leave so fast. 39. If you ever get mildly angry, then you are instantly labeled as “abusive.” 40. If she ever gets angry, then she is just “releasing her emotions.” 41. She will not let you go out with the boys. 42. If you do go out with your friends without her “permission,” expect constant phone calls and resentment when you get home. 43. So. Much. Drama. Expect to hear about how Jimmy broke up with Jenny for hours after work. 44. If you have a flaw, then she can divorce you and make a profit from it. 45. If she has a flaw, then she will still make a profit if you divorce her. It’s basically passive blackmail. 46. If you’re an athletic man, expect to lose all your muscle after getting married. Also expect to gain a lot of fat. 47. If you’re an athletic man, she will secretly resent you for your toned body, which she doesn’t have. 48. If you ever end up terminally ill, she can leave you as you’re considered a burden that will “weigh her down.” 49. If she ever ends up terminally ill, if you leave her, then you are considered a scumbag and selfish. 50. She has a whole posse of girl friends that will support her no matter what shitty actions she takes. They will enable her bad behaviors and vilify you. There ya go. There are so many innocent men that are blindly led into marriage like a sheep to slaughter. They do not realize that the whole system is against them. It is better to die on your feet than live on your knees. It is even better to live on your feet than die on your knees. You’re a man with free will and independence. Defend that fiercely and let no one command you.

Gave my ex wife a great life. Retired her 5 yrs into marriage, big house, fancy car, her and my boy needed for nothing, even moved her elderly parents in. Thought I was being good man/husband. Was just a soft beta and she ran over me like a snow plow. I hate that our family split but I couldn’t take anymore. Now, I spend my time getting jacked and juicy and make money. I have more money than ever and 3-4 chicks a month. My house is my castle and I am lord of all I survey. Like this gentleman, I now take zero BS

Honestly bro like u said he sticks around for his kids maybe because the kids are young if I'm assuming correctly.. So his heart is to them and figuring that if he were to leave his kids will be sad and the little things he would see at home and the spending time with them would be gone in a sense.. Kids don't know what adults are going through. Depending on age most kids it's all sunshine and rainbows and the thought of their parents being seperated or unhappy doesn't cross their mind.. To me it seems like your friend is gonna ride it out until his kids are of a grown age they would actually understand better.. I'm just assuming here.. I can guarantee u that if there was no kids their marriage he would of jumped out of the relationship in an instant.. He seems like a great father to his kids. Wouldn't be surprised if down the road he pulls the divorce plug... It's cheaper too knowing that at a certain age no child support would be involved if wifey goes after that..

I really am grateful that I come from a much more conservative muslim background. Sexual activity outside of marriage is extremely shameful. Women would never engage in it in our society since it risks her entire future from every perspective. There is nothing to be gained from it. Marrying a woman that has never engaged in any premarital sexual activity is the norm, allowing women to pair bond extremely well with their husbands. Divorce is highly frowned upon and is seen as a last resort in the most dire circumstances. Even in the event it happens divorce laws follow the islamic laws in which women only take what is fair. And we're talking in amounts, not percentages of a man's wealth, oftentimes it doesn't even each 5-10% of a man's wealth. If a man is wealthy he wouldn't even feel the amount, infact he might even give more than what is asked out of his own volition. What's going on in the west and in countries that have adopted western norms is a true tragedy. Rich I've been watching your content for a number of years. @@vladdrimboreanu7465 Yes it used to be the norm everywhere. Overtime the corruption of western society through media, scientific methods and psychology overtook and distorted these norms. At almost 70 , never married , no kids, active in biking, hiking, sailing, kayaking etc. I love my freedom and solitude, I could not accept having someone to be living with me, too set in my ways for that. I understand if someone had a family then lost it, that it could be a difficult change to be living alone.

@M.Kabane
@M.Kabane 3 жыл бұрын
If you want a lover , yes. You need rules, but if you want some to birth your childs and form a family with, then You people got it all wrong. Healthy life lasting relationships don't work that way. it's not about making them follow the rules, it's more about setting boundaries and coming to an understanding. You don't want to govern your woman, you want her to be your partner, your confidant, your best friend. Trying to impose rules and conditions in a relationship might've worked back in the old days; but now adays it's a recipe for failure.
@seangarvey3875

@@M.Kabane The way that women operate today is completely off the rails. I have a program I have a purpose. I’m not deviating from it for anybody. So if a woman wants to stay home and raise children then she’ll need to be on my program. I’m just not deviating from it. Whether you call it boundaries or rules is up for discussion. But what’s not up for discussion is whether or not I stay on my plan and purpose.
@M.Kabane
@M.Kabane 3 жыл бұрын
@@seangarvey3875 Interesting.. what is it that makes you feel that way?, What makes you think any decent woman out there would want you to deviate from you purpose? I'm yet to meet a decent woman that would not want me to pursue my goals or work on one of my projects. Yes, there are some women that might not be a good fit and if you let them they will drag you to their level; But this is when you make a rational decision. They either get it or you leave them behind, it's that simple. But the problem is, most men now adays are too damn sensitive. They take everything women do to them so personal it ruins their lives. They get so hurt, so traumatized, they can't even stand women anymore to the point they come to despise them, Which I find ridiculous.

@George Duffy I’m happy for you. I won’t be failing because I won’t be married. I am in a relationship and I do control the frame. If people choose to enter into marriage then it can be a slaughterhouse. I’ve seen enough of it so please spare me your faux outrage. I’ll handle my life the way I choose to thank you very much. And however alpha you are, you can’t control the legal system if she decides to leave. And given you have been married so long you’ll have a lifetime of alimony if that significant legal event happens. Just saying 🤷🏾‍♂️
@seangarvey3875
@seangarvey3875 3 жыл бұрын
@@M.Kabane I don’t know if you’re keeping track but there are a lot of women who enter into marriage and then for whatever reason decide that they want to leave with cash and prizes. It happens so often that it’s actually more than 50% now. And 80% of the time women file for divorce. I don’t know how you don’t know this. There are no upsides unless you’re married to have children. So please spare me. Do you not understand how the divorce industry works? I’ve seen this among my clients and some have even committed suicide unfortunately. I’ve seen several have to live in their cars or live with their parents. You can’t tell me this doesn’t happen. So I’m not being sensitive. I’m being practical. Learning from others mistakes.

Its not a womans game, its a 2 person dance and we tend to think of marriage as an endgame. But its kinda like getting a really good job. You may have to go through all sorts of rigmarole to get employed but once you have the job you don't just chill out do you. You work even HARDER than before to really kill that and let it grow into something better and more profitable. Marriage is like that. It may be a womans game but its mans work, which is why so few are willing and able it seems.

Started out pretty with the simple you don’t need to be all macho to impress me anymore, then it turned into why do you always have to be like that, now we are at the I hate the macho attitude you have. Been secretly looking for another place and getting ready to serve her. My personality doesn’t change just because you don’t like it. Sure I may adjust some quirks like which side the toilet paper faces, leaving my razor on the counter, ya know respectful things like that but I am who I am, you don’t like it that’s too bad.

I say this all the time and a lot of guys just don't seem to get it. Her respect for your masculine and paternal authority, is in direct competition with innate narcissism it's actually solipsism, but in most cases it expresses itself as narcissism, when her entitlements, and her consideration for them, become more a priority concern to her, than her innate respect for masculine authority. At the start, it matters little, because her biological attraction is motivated by her respect for your masculinity, but the longer she's with you, the more she resents it, as her own entitlements become her priority and focus. Eventually, you get to a point where no matter how masculine and respectable/alpha you are, she won't respect your boundaries or authority. This leaves the man with only two options, and they both tie down to the only thing these wmn do unconditionally 'respect'; their own fear (narc compelled - Fear of shame, invalidation, and disgrace). 1) Leave (fear of invalidation, because you prove her inferior, and she is practically a narc) 2) Fear of you banging other wmn en masse. (Same again, but with added disgrace, and she will feel disgraced and ashamed but in more than one way) 3) Fear of being beaten black and blue. Some wmn force you into the pigeonhole sooner than others. Most men choose to leave, because it it the only option that is 'reasonably acceptable'. The fact is, unless she was raised in a household from birth to maturity where the biodaddy was present and had clearly respected authority over mother and daughter, she's going to have this entitlement problem, because though her biology has a say, her conditioning is in complete reinforced contradiction. The only thing a man can do, is scrutinously vet, and leave as soon as the scent coming off her knees hits your nose. She wants an alpha when it suits her, and a codependent doormat when it suits her. Better to smash 'n' dash.

In today’s post modern world we’re trying to live in marriage without recognizing what principles from the past made that institution work. Without getting too preachy, religious boundaries are what gave the ground rules for marriage and family to be successful. The rolls were defined, and everyone understood their place. There was no tolerance for stepping out side of that, because for the health of the community that was the order of things. Nowadays people are trying to make marriage a contract, trying to earn their spouses love and commitment, and all while there is no defined principles. There is no rule book anymore… try playing any sport without rules!
