I find it awesome that Derrick is not only looking for people in the competition but also from the casting rounds, who usually don't get the proper spotlight.

Hi, Scott! At least you got to cook. :-) I am in the background of the first two episodes though. It was still one of the best experiences I ever had.

I want this venison recipe! We just had a venison roast for dinner and I make up my own marinade but that mustard one intrigues me

Real simple in a mixing bowl combine milk, yellow mustard and ur favorite dry seasonings I use salt, fresh cracked pepper, garlic powder and cayenne whisk to combine and then season your lightly pounded venison backstrap pieces with the same dry seasoning and place in a zip bag with the milk marinade overnight....pull out before service and into a dredge of half flour half panko bread crumbs with same dry seasonings and shallow fry in a cast iron skillet!

Derrick, this is one of your best episodes. The talk on life in general other than only masterchef is refreshing... More of this❤

Scott - 6 mistakes (could have seasoned before, a little bland, meat doesn't work, meat texture, lack of salt, lack of salt is fatal)- NO from Joe and Christine - didn’t get the apron
