Sorry if this is lower in quality compared to my other videos, but I think the content is still VERY valuable, so I hope you learn from it.

Quality is as high as ever. The truth is it’s the simple habits that you mentioned that people mostly like to oversee. Everybody knows it’s not hard to get these habits done which is the exact reason why we wrongfully skip them. One must first before learning how to draw, learn how to learn correctly and efficiently.

Quantity over quality,I gained alot more knowledge after watching this video despite the assumed "low quality" so in conclusion, its perfectly fine if it's not high quality enough =) Btw I hope your life is doing well haven't seen one of your videos in a while ❤

I was surprised by the fact this video had only ~20 comments. You were exactly right; 99% did just click off the video. In the last year, I’ve changed my life for the better: listening to positive reggae music, meeting positive people, connecting with my partner more, learning how to communicate, and getting a job has gotten me where I am today. I’ve meditated off and on in my life, but never really committed to it. I connect this with my art, too I am capable of great things, yet sometimes I choose to lay in bed, stay in my comfort zone. Though, with the times I’ve meditated it really did feel like a brain push up! It’s so hard to remain focused and simple tutorials online or using simple phrases when meditating help me a lot. Going to go meditate right now and then draw; ignoring my brain telling me to stay in my comfort zone! Thanks for this video, man.

Oh man thank you for the comment, this was the kind of impact I wanted to have on the few people that did stay. I confess that in terms of content creation, this video is my worst, but I will keep pushing this message in better ways in the future so it reaches more people, just like it reached me when I was like most people. Thanks for commenting, it made my day

One of the things about life that actually blows my mind are coincidences, I think it was 2 weeks ago, I had read a volume of Vagabond and after that I felt like I needed to lay on my bed and just think about my life. The thing is that I don't remember having done any kind of meditation prior to that but I was suprised to see how good it felt after a few minutes. I thought I should do it regularly but actually ended up forgetting about it until 2 days ago where I did the exact same thing for a few minutes, focusing on my breath. And now the youtube algorithm sends me to your channel, I saw Musashi, I clicked, stayed for the content, and your video convinced me that I should try to meditate daily. Thank you for these advices.

Man I'm happy this video got to you. I've been slacking on meditation for a while now, and funnily enough, your comment made me meditate today, so thank you too. I kinda wish this video had more views, as I think the advice is really solid, but that unfortunately isn't enough and I kinda failed from a content prespective, but I'll definitely try again. Also Vagabond is actually such a life changing manga, keep reading it
@nii68518 ай бұрын
@@sariyaartI'm happy to see that ! Even though I haven't witnessed the benefits of doing it it totally makes sense so it's a shame it hasn't that much views (even when compared to your other videos)... Who knows maybe the algorithm will wake up at some point, I personally think that mentionning "Meditation" in the title might actually dissuade people from watching it, I feel like they would be more likely to click if the title was something like "How that trick can make your artist life 10x easier". And I really like Vagabond so far (29 volumes in) but sadly I don't have much free time because of university, and also because I want to draw regularly but I'll eventually get to the latest volume (and hope Takehiko Inoue gets to finish it)

0:30 I laughed hard. Having some of the worst ADHD, it's everyday life. I have had to find out different coping mechanisms throughout life, but out of all, meditation works best. Used to do it a lot but for some reason just fell off of it years back. I hadn't sat down in a while and meditated, though given the fact that it helps a lot with training focus, and it's led to some bad habits of having the infamous 2 second attention span. Does not work out at all when I go to start any lengthy project. Took a bit (about half the video's length) to sit down, breath, and just listen for once. Haven't felt this "at ease" in a while. Gotta do this more often, like every day type of more often. Thanks man, you helped me out a lot.

Man I didn't expect a comment on this video. I don't think I have adhd, but I know what you mean. The amount of peace you experience during and after meditation is unlike anything else. I fell off the practice for months too, now it's time to get back onto it. You helped me a lot to as a reminder, thank you for commenting! Stay strong

one another important thing: dont quit after u got some benefit from meditation and feels "oh its enough, iam pure and complete now and doesnt need this mental heal anymore!" -- no, its not therapy(though in many cases it is), its a daily exercise just like ur muscle will escape if u dont go to gym. I used to try meditate to encounter pressure in school and quited with graduation. And now I feel the familiar thought wondering and mental pressure in workplace and try to do medite again. just found that i cant get into it quickly like i degenerated to a total rookie -- i did, actually .
@sariyaart Жыл бұрын
Yeah that's definitely relatable for me as well. I kinda quit after a couple of months and the difference was very clear. It's a life long thing and worthwhile one, it pays off for sure. Thanks for the comment ❤️

I was wondering why my art doesnt looks appealing to me anymore these days, I cant focus on anything anymore. I feel numb. Thank you so much for your suggestion :)
@taikobo6943 Жыл бұрын
It actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it. You’re literally practicing focus. And it’s backed by science, I particularly remember Andrew huberman talking about it’s immense impact on one’s Dopamine regulation and ability to focus. Thank you very much for your genuine effort to deliver this.

You don't know how happy this makes me. Most of the people who took this seriously were people who already knew how good meditation is, and seeing someone motivated to start doing it because of my video makes me feel like it was worth it all along. Another Banger of a Video. It's so true. Meditation is super helpful. I have been meditating for a year on and of. And I can definitely say it doesn't only help you focus, but helps with accepting yourself and your thoughts. So yeah Definitely try it out. This video motivates me to try and do it consistently again😅
