@chief man There is no denying that he can coach but they can't attract any quality players. There is only a certain amount of improvement that he can make with an average roster and an incompetent board. I suspect Tim Sheens will take over before round 10 next season. Unfortunately, there are still a number of years of pain ahead for the Tigers.

You can feel sorry for them but it's the way that the game is. Management within clubs should absolutely be as replacable as the players. The fact any club can honestly be that completely stagnant in a limited salary cap-based competition, is almost laughable. I honestly feel for the fans more than anything.

It’s not Maguire.. it’s the whole management of tigers 💀 10 years without a single finals appearance. Broncos missed 2 seasons and we’ve basically cleaned out the closet with players and brung Walters, who has honestly done an exceptional job by doing what other coaches wouldn’t dare to do by playing guys each week to see what’ll work because we are in a rebuilding stage, and by seasons end our defence really did approve so much and confidence was coming back also and gave it to Penrith in both fixtures. A lot more work, yes but improvement also with signings.. Tigers however, lost great players and haven’t really signed good players, Laurie is an exception 🔥 and doueihi needs to play 5/8 but they have to build around them. Tigers really need to change something because if not… I reckon they should honestly be relegated and bring in Redcliff Dolphins and sign Maguire. He deserves a lot more

The problem isn't McGuire it starts with Pascoe. The fact they have let so many of there juniors and players go has your your head shaking. They were going to let Tedesco go to potential sign KMH as a replacement, then managed to keep him to let him go a year later just blows your mind. Other names Moses, Tapou, Woods, Farrah, Benji, etc etc. Obviously the 3 club team just isn't working, too many chiefs.

I think PLAYERS need to be held accountable on an equal level as the coaches. After all, the coach can only do so much & if the players don’t aim up, the scoreboard gets very ugly ....
