A lot of fun to see you playing around with these values. I'll admit, I couldn't watch any faster than 1.0 playback because the education was heavy! Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial.

Two deep dives in a row, may have to do something lighter next week. As always more info and a few questions answered down in the description. Also my apologies for the audio glitch at the end of the video. The music cuts in abruptly in about the last 15 seconds of the video.

Hey Nathan! Great videos. I was wondering if you could possibly do a tutorial on how to "insert yourself" into existing movie scenes? I saw a great one by another film maker but it was for Adobe products, not Resolve. I'm trying to start a new project where I act out scenes from movies I love and insert myself over the original actor. If this is something you would be willing to do a tutorial on, that would be amazing. I am relatively a noob to Resolve and have very little experience so far. Thanks for your great videos and I hope to hear back from you.

Hello Nathan , hope you are well. i am content creator for fitness stuff. recently i saw a video related to fitness that when for example the guy was exercising shoulder, a photo of body comes up on the screen and shows where this exercise effect on muscle. can you guide me how can i do it with davinchi resolve?

I'm not quite sure I follow. Do you have a reference? I'll see if I can point you in the right direction.

Nathan, you are going to give me a complex if you keep telling me I am doing everything wrong. lol. I have told you before, I enjoy these dips into the "What and Why" when it comes to tools in Resolve - way too many tutorials out there that are correct, but are more of a memory test - the "Do this, then do that" videos I think are less effective then the deep dive videos like this one. And as noted below the end music, I thought maybe another video had started up on me that was hidden. Thanks again for telling me , I am doing something wrong.

Haha I think I'm gonna retire the name for this series and just switch it to "how ___ actually works". Really glad you like the videos though. Also sorry about the end audio, late night edits lead to goofs more often than not.

Haha thanks for checking in man. I'm alive, everything's good. My business client work picked up like crazy and I've just been swamped with projects. Hoping to be back at it in a couple months. I started uploading consistently cause covid killed all my business, but finally it bounced back so it's good to be able to pay the bills. You've been putting out killer stuff though. Loved your Pocket 6k pro breakdown.

I can't understand why you posted this in 1080 on a topic regarding DETAIL. KZbin compression has already done it's dirty work!! This should be in 4K or better.
@NathanCarterVids3 жыл бұрын
I guess I see what you're saying, but I'm more talking about what's actually happening in resolve. The resolution doesn't really help the explanation (the compression maybe). The display capture is in HD, so aside from a bit extra compression I don't see how it would make things way better.

Yeah, I've contimplated changing the name of the series, cause I don't like the negative impression it gives. It's provocative for sure. My hope is that the actual tutorial leaves people feeling positive and informed. I also love it when people try the tests out themselves and even try different tests that I never thought of. Hope you can forgive the clickbait.
@SneakyMawwfaka4 жыл бұрын
@@NathanCarterVids Haha yeah, no problem! It was partially a joke and partially a little hint to what you apparently already knew yourself. The information you're supplying is great, so no complaining there! Thanks for what you're doing!
