I guarantee the Pats will look like a completely different team next season because the team will have discipline,stability,& order that the Pats desperately needs!!! Idk if they will make the playoffs depending on what Mike Vrabel does in the Draft/FA but they will most likely win 7-8 games because of how easy their schedule is. I also agree he’s wanted this job for a LONG TIME!!! I’m so happy & excited for the future of the Pats now that we are officially in the Mike Vrabel era as HC❤️💙

The complaints from fans about Vrabel and Josh McDaniels play calling…without even considering the players they were working with is absolutely hilarious. “Vrabel ran the ball all the time”…yeah because he had an athletic freak who rushed for over 2,000 yards without a good QB. “McDaniels offense is boring it’s all short passes and screens”. Well gee that’s because he was working with predominantly Edelman, Amendola, Chris Hogan and other rag tag receivers throughout the 2010’s. You’re not gunna be sending those dudes on constant Go Routes because they aren’t blazers. Also their running backs were predominantly pass catchers so that’s why they would check down so much. McDaniels offense in 07 was one of the greatest all time when given the right players. Vrabel has already shown and said he’s willing to work with whatever players he has…and now he has the final say on player personnel. The future is very bright for this team if they can bring McDaniels in too.

Grab banks or Campbell, trade back into the first round for a receiver, sign free agent linemen on both sides of the ball, get a new proven OC. Super Bowl in 4 years.

I plead guilty. I also wanted the Patriots to completely cut ties with any and all things Bill and Brady related because I thought that was what was holding us back. I have more faith in Mike than Mayo because he has experience and has been through the ringer and not just be a positional coach and BOOM now HC. I just hope he had a big hand in the roster (re)build.

Great move by Kraft to bring in Vrabel. His comments show he is bringing a mission to the stadium.

*Mentality, discipline, development, accountability and CONVICTION. Mayo lacked in all five of these departments. People can blame the roster all they want but Mayo was in way over his head even with a good roster. Constantly deflecting and changing his message, then back tracking every single Monday for the things we heard and saw him say. From his press conference alone you can tell Vrabel means business and isn’t taking sh-t from anyone.*

The potential Drake Maye/OC dynamic concerns me a bit but a return to discipline and preparation will make a huge difference. If Drake doesn't need to try being accurate while running for his life with nearly every passing down will itself improve passing numbers.

I said this before and I’ll say this again, I know we have good players. Not when it comes to the offensive line, or how young our WR room is, but when it comes to our defense we have good players. Like come on we had a top ten defense with BB. Demarcus Covington was just not utilizing them well towards their strengths. For our fan base, we shouldn’t throw shade towards our team. From coaches to the players. It doesn’t matter how much money you spend going there to watch the games. If you’re a real fan you’ll support your team. Because we all knew that this season wasn’t going to be a turning point after one draft and we only hit it on one player which was Drake Maye. A QB can’t take a team to the playoffs or Super Bowl with how many holes it has on both sides of the ball. I just don’t wanna see fans booing our starting QB if they have a bad couple of games and chanting the 2nd string QBs name over our starter. I wanna see this fan base chanting our starting QBs name when he needs to bounce back. I wanna see this fan base during games chanting “Defense” when they need to make a stop. Because by doing that it’ll throw off the other teams focus. I just feel like the majority of this fan base is really spoiled and negative. It really needs to change, because no player will want to resign here with the kind of fans we have. A rebuild takes time. As our team gets better, other teams will get better and others will degress. From players retiring to teams not being able to resign players. Rebuilds take time.

I think you guys don't understand how good BB was. No one will replace him; the defense was going to take a step back no matter what. Vrable will get more out of these guys because he has done it before but the injuries that the Pats had affected them this year.
@emanstatom12 күн бұрын
@ no you’re right, BB will forever be the best coach in NE. But he has made many mistakes himself that made this whole organization take a huge step back. Year after year having failed drafts, year after year not prioritizing the holes we had on offense. Also let’s not forget when he didn’t want to re-sign Tom Brady, and Joe Thuney. We all know that Brady would have stuck in NE no matter what money you threw at him. The man took countless paycuts year after year just to get players to stay or sign to NE. That was the beginning of the downfall for NE. Because what did he actually ever address these past 3-4 years when he was the HC? He grabbed Gonzo and Barhmore, but that’s basically it. There were so many seasons under the reigns of BB that he failed to succeed. Drafting N’Keal Henry in the first round when we could have gotten Aj Brown or Dk Metcalf. Drafting Cole strange in the first round when he was projected to be drafted in the 2nd-3rd round. Failing Mac Jones by improving the offense. Prime BB was amazing, but the version we had the last 3-4 years I do not miss at all. It sucks that he got fired, but it was time for NE to move on. At least with Vrabel he will hold players accountable again, give discipline as well. Because at the end of the day, penalties and turn overs is what makes you lose games.
@joshuamcneely302812 күн бұрын
@@emanstatom BB was never good with offensive picks. I think Brady hid many of the bad picks with how good he was. Also, he did draft Rhamondre Stevenson, Marcus Jones, and Keion White. I do like Boutte and Douglas, and hopefully, they will improve.

He'll be fired for the same reason he did in Tennessee, he gets along with no one and thinks he is Belichick and should run everything when he's not in Belichicks league experience wise. No one even thought to go and talk to Tennessee to see why he got booted. Quote from Tennessee: "the good thing about Vrabel is he is like Belichick, the bad thing about Vrabel is he is like Belichick"
