I love these professional manufacturing facilities that still use the same cobbled-together solutions as home DIY makers, like a hardware store heat gun strapped to a plywood box and Harbor Freight paint sprayers converted into pressure pots.

As someone who has worked in castings manufacturing before, I have to say that facility is *CLEAN*. Those guys operate on another level. I would absolutely love to spend my life working in the tabletop war gaming production world. Thanks for the inside look Scott! I’ll be checking these guys out and most likely handing over a good amount of cash for that Mech game.

Way back in the way-back times (mid to late 80's), I took a tour of the Ral Partha plant in Cincinnati, Ohio, before they got bought / absorbed into Iron Wind Metals. Amazing to watch the hand sculpting of figures, the mechanical scaling down from the originals, and the molding all before digital sculpting of minis was a thing. Seeing how it's done today was very cool. Thanks for this!
